This song is so bittersweet for me. My best friend and I were roommates and she said I sang this in my sleep. This was the first song I learned on guitar and ukulele and I played it incessantly. So much that I made a parody and wrote a song with the same chord progression. Also so much so that the aforementioned best friend was like STAHP. How many times have I watched this and when did I favorite it? It's been so long. I remember the first time I watched it, I was drunk and so in love. Maybe 2009. It just reminded me so much of him. I watched this video dozens of times wishing I could sing it to him, but I never showed it to him. We parted ways, on good terms and are still friends, West Coast East Coast friends I guess.
