Just an update just got it delivered from BN today . Oddly enough the box doesn’t say ultimate 2nd edition , just ultimate edition . Haven’t really had a chance to go through in deep yet but it looks like a solid game . You do get a different board , new looking throw ruler etc… so it is minor but a nice glow up from the old ultimate . Also you have unexpected event cards - I don’t rember if the original ultimate edition had those

Hmm, I got the Dwarves from Season 2 and I got some cheap orcs from eBay already. Will wait to see what the new rules additions bring and also how expensive it will be in Germany.

Yea, I can imagine someone will be selling the twist deck separately and I’m sure you can count on the community to share scans of the new teams. I’m going to get it considering it’s my fave thing to do on the channel. I’ll let you know what changed.

Two slower teams, and a pitch setup that favors bashy play style. The first pitch that you can block entirely with only 3 players (the one in the box art).

The hype is real . Only question is how long from finding a the webpage on the BN site to actually release? One also has to wonder wil this be a BN exclusive or a target one? For instance the tyranid attack game is on the BN site however atm tyrnaid attack is only available at target and not Barnes and noble - though I assume at some point Barnes will also sell tyranid attack . Nonetheless I hope we get blitz bowl ultimate 2nd edition soon … I.e release in August and not sept or October. Check the GW community news site every few days , for sure there wil be some type of marketing once it comes out .

The whole tyranid attack release confuses me. It seems like it was available for purchase at the start of the month with no heads up. That said, so far it's just a reskin of LoN. I had no idea about the new version of Blitz Bowl at all until a subscriber mentioned it. Now your news about tyranid attack at Barnes and Noble also has me interested. Funny enough now thy made both games unsearchable on the Barnes and Noble websites but you can still find them both via direct links. The question now is what else is coming out At the very lest now I need to start doing weekly runs to target and Barnes and Noble to see if anything cool comes in. As far as dates.... I have no clue. I remember one year they announced a game in the spring and it came out next January. It's wait and see.

@@Nardio heh for tyrnaid attack I don’t mind it being a reskin of LON because I don’t own LoN. Now I did get one of the promo emails from GW last Monday the day tyranid attack dropped at target , almost like a “stealth” drop by GW . I am guessing that GW may do the same thing with the new blitz bowl , i.e… one day you get a random promo email out of the blue that a new ultimate edition blitz bowl is available, that is why I constantly check the GW community news page. Since blitz bowl is a “small box” game and not something big like spearhead or 40k it is probably not something GW wil hype weeks in advance.
