I just bindged this while playing my own game of ONI. I'm not great at it or anything but I'm currently running the most successful colony I've ever made. I'm betting it was the good vibes you sent. I started the DLC before I got decent at the base game and had to start over and go back to the basics, so I can get how easy it is to be overwhelmed by the masses of content changes. Thanks for the content man! Always a pleasure. :)

10:35 so the issue with the oxygen system is that you're not using your excess hydrogen. because of this, hydrogen is building up on the left side of your oxygen system (compare both sides to see what i mean), which is polluting your air vent system. This is an easy fix, luckily! If you build a vent going from the vent bridge intake below your hydrogen gas storage and have it lead to another hydrogen generator (do NOT use smart wiring or any automation on this generator. you want it running 24/7) it will burn through the excess hydrogen and clear up your oxygen generation system. Additionally, the extra hydrogen generator will provide bursts of extra power for your whole base 2 electrolyzers should more than be able to manage 14 dupes if you're managing the overflow :) edit: anywhere that you have airflow tiles in your base should be 2x1. certain situations can result in a gas getting 'stuck' in an airflow tile essentially turning it back into a normal tile
@wittkopdotzgaming2 жыл бұрын
You know... in spaced out you can simply use a few gasses for a rocket engine, hydrogen works too, or just blast it into space with a gas pump
@Ncitbgihem2 жыл бұрын
@@wittkopdotzgaming while that does work, we then have to worry about storing all the extra gas since he doesn't have rockets yet (storage maxing out would cause the hydrogen to start flooding the system again). You certainly could set up a large storage system or even exploit the game's mechanics to create an infinite gas storage chamber, but to explain how to do that in one comment would have been rather tedious
@wittkopdotzgaming2 жыл бұрын
@@Ncitbgihem i see and understand, the why not just send the gasses to space? :D

With petroleum, you could just deconstruct the reservoir and that would end up with bottle of petroleum. And I think you need more water to "steam chamber" around 20kg / tile. 1kg of water is 1kg of steam. So there you have 12 tiles times 20 is around 240 kg water (in total), 40kg per tile. Doesn't matter if its 50 or 60, or even 70. But too little will not work. I have way more than 100 kg of steam per tile, and things work fine.

Hi Blitz, if you have problems with any bad gasses (CO2, Cl gas, etc) just use a gas pump and send it to space, if the vent is exposed to space, the gasses will magically dissapear. Also you can make rocket engines that work with CO2

Your steam room with the aquatuner will probably have some issues with CO2 and steam cluttering the system, you should fill in a layer of clean water, and a layer of polluted water, this will make it a room with only water, and then when it heats up there will only be steam in there. You can also cool the steam turbine using the water the steam turbine gives out, since it will be relatively cool and wont change states in the pipes since its such small amounts in it.
@slidexztv97272 жыл бұрын
He has a vacuum in the steam room with a mini liquid lock and also has a section of radiant pipe by the turbine which I assume will have a small layer of liquid to share temps he actually copied it from Nathan’s sandbox so it’s the one system that I think will work decently well in his base lol I just hate to see normal pipes in the steam room and not insulated
