Hello, I just a note on power. You may want to put several large batteries in the space above your base because you are making far more power than you are consuming and little of it is getting stored. Putting a ladder in outside your base should allow you to build it without harming your hydrogen containment. Your crop keeps dying Blitz! Harvest them!! I also saw you make a huge storage compartment room in your last time playing this game. Why don't you do that now so that your colonists don't have to wander into contaminated oxygen every time they need something? Honestliar has wounds! Can you make a medical bed for him? Those are my only three critiques. Otherwise, you're doing extremely well in this game. You maintain everything flawlessly :).

You need pufts, pufts are love, pufts are life. use them for you bio distillers because they poop slime and just in general, clean contaminated oxygen. you can have basically infinite oxygen with these guys, put a dead body in a room with pufts to create contaminated oxygen, pump all contaminated oxygen (with filters) into a room with pufts, or you can even keep a puft and that other little bug that creates contaminated oxygen in a room together. Man, I love pufts

It's kind of like how the North American way of pronouncing element 13 is "aluminum," while in England and most English speaking parts of Europe it is spelled and pronounced "aluminium" with more emphasis on the second "i." Blitz when you take the CO2 from you base and pump it into the cold loop it replaces some of the cold CO2 in the pipes with normal room temperature.

Your gas stopped pumping CO2, simply as an Alpha bug. It stopped the second you placed the extra filter even though it wasn't built yet, if you go back and watch. You can switch the gas pipes to filter O2 up into the base and everything else into storage (keeps all harmful gases out of base vs. just filtering Co2) Also, it didn't forget the gas pipe was there, you changed the material for it. You can essentially do this with all flooring, gas pipes, plumbing, etc. to increase decor. So anything build igneous rock you can change to sandstone, granite, or other materials.

also Blitz, I'd personally like to see you build a steam plant for a constant supply of water. You can run the dirty water from your slime distilleries/toilet and shower to a hot room where the water will flash to steam then pump it through the cold room to cool and let it condense into a tank for later use for electrolyzers and sanitation facilities. I ran into an issue in the late game where I ran out of sand so filtration became an issue.

Just so you know, pretty sure you've got the way the liquid pumping works. The bubbles moving in the pipes doesn't actually mean 10 kg is moving. If you look at them around 28 minutes, you can see bubbles 'duplicating', one will stay where it is as another moves along. I think what happens is that only a little bit is actually moving along the pipes, but because there's still a tiny bit missing in the pipes, the pump keeps pumping it in; that doesn't mean it's pumping at full capacity though. If you want to test, pump in a few bubbles of water, and then turn the pump off; see how long the water lasts in the electrolyser. Guarantee it won't eat it all super fast.

The algae terrariums I think DO create oxygen the more I played with them, but they seem to get a bonus to their production if there is CO2 for them to consume.... Also, did not notice that about the water on the electrolizer. Mind blown!

you should print 2 more in your colony to spread the stress and work load a little more, your base is getting to big they spend a lot of time running. you should strategize your storage and sweep up after. plus you should add 2 vent tiles under the bathroom straight to the lader! Do you think the pipes eroded?

hey blitz, you should have broken open the hydrogen pocket below that algae, but before you do that, put an air pump and all the plumbing and wiring before you open it or all the hydrogen will get stuck and you will have a harder time getting all the hydrogen.

My opinion: If you're enclosing an area you never intend your duplicates to get to, use manual airlocks. Otherwise, the electric airlocks just sit there using power. I'd only really use electric airlocks in heavy traffic areas.

Yeah I like the electrolyze room taller as well, it might save some energy to sieve through oxygen and hydrogen mix air Also, u can leave gas permeable tail on the bottom of electrolyze room so oxygen will sink by itself can save you some more energy.

Hey blitz maybe you should try opening the hydrogen pocket to the far left and add some more pumps and go from the pocket to your hydrogenerator, also airlock that area down when you open it up as well as maybe add 2 more hydrogen generators and you will be pumping in tons of energy, the one where u extracted all the algae the one right beloe it.

Blitz do you know what you can do with that heat produced from the coolers. You can create steam from contaminated water and when the steam condenses it turns into regular water for only energy its very efficient and you can just retro fit your current water tank to do it

Maybe you could do the slime factory producing contaminated water then filter it to pure water and make a huge system. If you can get those puffs in you will have unlimited supply. I got that far but had trouble with co2 game over haha

I usually create a air locked room relatively 6 tiles high, put 3-4 gas pumps on the top and then a few electrolyzers underneath (depending on size of the base). I use a gas filter and filter all hydrogen to the hydrogen generator and then i pump the remaining oxygen into the base via a few gas outlets. After all the original gas is pumped out, the only remaining gases in the whole room are hydrogen and plentiful oxygen. Then turning it off is as easy as one of the electrical switches or just disabling the water pump. Its an effective way of producing oxygen, as long as you have /plenty/ of water or water refinement stations, hydrogen filtered out so you dont have to deal with that, and the only gas you have to deal with is clean oxygen. One of the best things about this is it is all fully automated as well, minus turning the station off and on, but once i make the little oxygen plant, i close the airlock so no one has to get inside and disrupt the oxygen at all. Its also pretty cool to watch it slowly make the room a vacuum once the water pump is turned off. :)

You'll prob need a valve in front of the hydrogen generator as well, to regulate the input. Unfortunately it only pumps when there's gas coming in and it disregards it's internal storage at the moment.

how about a 7x7 room with walls that are 3 tiles thick. There you put all gasses except H2 and O2 using a main bus for gasses, with about 4 pumps around your base. you could try removing a lot of bad gasses in the thing.

replace the mesh tiles on the 1st floor with regular tiles. every time something goes wrong all the co2 goes through the tiles and into your base. no point in making that room with an air lock if gasses pass freely...

The liquid CO2 is probably because of the pressure inside the container, i looked it up after last episode and it turns out you can get liquid carbon dioxide at something like 4-5 atmospheres (can't remember, don't quote me on that)

i mean its not just the melting point its almost everything in the game, for instance when you burn hydrogen the by product is water, it uses all the oxygen that was created to burn with the hydrogen so there is no gain of anything and its also imposible to get it to power itself in real life.
