Hey All, Just want to let you know Christmas Morning here in Ocala Florida we are supposed to be 19 degrees. Looks like I will be braking ice off the Horses water tanks. We are located about 45 minutes south of Gainesville Florida or roughly 90 miles North West of Orlando. Don't ever think that it Does Not get cold here in Florida and Yes it does snow too. I have seen it. Of course if you live in South Florida, You have to be careful because the Iguana's get frozen and fall out of the trees and such, No Lie... look it up, They put out Falling Iguana Alerts. Enjoyed your video, Thanks for sharing. And NO, I Do Not Miss The Snow... Love the cold.

And then it was winter. Hopefully the colder temperatures will help freeze some of the moisture out of the snow and lighten the load on the trees. A little wind might help shake some of the snow off. North Central WI is about the same situation . Sounds like a lot more trees are doomed, as a lot more snow in the forecast with no above freezing temps. Also winds up in the 40 mph Friday I believe. The snow will sit right on the trees that are bent over. Birch are the worse off.

We just got our generator running, and we have a friend with a single cow milking setup, so if we had to, we could use that. We're thinking of looking into a small vacuum pump that our generator could run also. Being without power definitely got us thinking.
