I feel for this man, My character named TossedSalad was my first character and a month into classic i was banned for 24 hrs for my name. i appealed to blizzard explaining that im a die hard salad fanatic that's been working at a salad bar the past 10 years and they didn't even listen and forced me to change my name, my identity, who i am. Its sickening that i cant even have a healthy name like Tossed salad. i mean who eats a salad that isnt Tossed. These discriminations must cease to keep happening. THEN I got hit with another name change . . . and changed it right back to the original name without any problems lol. Its a reference to being an assmonkey. Look for the definition in urban dictionary and youll see it perfectly describes asmongold. He sometimes can be an assmonkey. Replace ass with "crack" as in "butt crack" and rewrite the word to "krak". Only reason to flag it is for referencing the word ass in a circular manner. Character names are more strict in Classic because it's a social RP game but it should be the opposite imo. naming should be relaxed precisely because of role playing so that players can role play to be an asshole if they so chose. The IRL dangerous behavior and illegal measures are often born out of forbidden RP and forbidden fantasies. I think it's time for Blizz to acknowledge that Classic is a RPG fantasy game. I mean, you don't get prosecuted for murder every time you gank someone in game and that has to leave names open to anything but military secrets IRL and direct racial attacks or direct bullying of another player. The #FreeHongKong name is also silly, since Hong Kong citizens already have a higher GDP per capita than the USA, the crisis included. Free them from what ? Being richer than almost anywhere in the Western World ?

For everyone getting flagged with character renames or getting suspensions for it, it most likely has to do with people actually reporting you in-game. Then Blizzard takes action against it due to the reports taken against you by said players that find it offensive. Although, I do find some names I was suspended for in the past quite funny and the suspensions/name changes I had made no sense, but whatever.
