I’ve said it since I first heard them, that dude is the most underrated drummer in the history of music. His fills are gorgeous, everything he does makes perfect sense, even how heavily he plays within a bar to match a growing base or a held lead guitar note. Stunning. He’s like the Brian May of drumming, not flashy or crazy technical but every note they play makes perfect musical sense, it’s like you’ve heard it before you hear it.
