16 December 2017 | First video recorded with a wide-angled lens to be uploaded to KZbin! Apologies if the video was crappy as i am still trying to learn to record with a wide-angled lens clipped to my phone camera...😕
Note that i cannot turn on my camera flashlight when filming with a wide-angled lens(otherwise the lens would reflect the light back into the camera and it makes you cannot see part of what i am recording as the reflected flashlight is blocking the camera), hence when i am filming something dark (eg. the lift's door mechanism), i would need to take out my wide-angled lens, then turn on my camera flashlight, continue recording until i have finished recording the part of the video that needs flashlight.
What made me want to revisit this place again? Well i heard rumours on the previous video of the same block that Lift B was upgraded again and sadly they turned out to be true.😟
This building was built around 1984 and its lease started in 1985. It originally had 2 Fujitecs, both of which serving floors 1,4,9,13,17. Then, LUP came in 2008/2009 where lift A was replaced to an all-stop Ulift, while lift B was simply given a a refurbishment by Ulift, still remaining a limited stop as before. However, as Lift B was aging and is much less used than Lift A, it got replaced in 2017 by Ulift again.
In this video, as you can see, both lifts are really busy. It was worse in the past where Lift A was even busier because residents are either too lazy or couldn't use the stairs to take Lift B if it didn't stop at their floor.
