This kind of straight-line patterned metal securer for the glass windows on the doors came much earlier than you think!
(perhaps Ulift-XJ's and Mitsubishi Singapore's Lift Renewal Programme/Selective Lift Replacement Programme [LRP/SLRP] elevator replacements were inspired by this type of window securer pattern as well?)
Lift A has reasonably loud announcements, and its door buzzer is working. Lift B's door buzzer has worn out, but its announcements are louder than Lift A.
In my honest opinion, these Japanese Fujitec elevators run really smoothly and efficiently, and they are not flimsy. Much better than the China Fujitecs we have of today. The only slight improvement that is needed for these elevators is faster leveling (maybe pre-leveling doors if possible)
Both of the elevators have a special autocall function back to the 1st floor, such that if they are not in use (and are both above the first floor), one of them will simply get called down to the first floor, but will not open its doors if no one has pressed the call button there.
Took about 10 minutes for me to get a successful take of Lift B being autocalled back to the first floor. (The lifts are rather busy here)
