I appreciate your video very much. This was one of the clearest descriptions of how to set up a pole tent that is out there. Most videos show an internal frame tent instead. The part showing the connection of the ridgepole and uprights was especially helpful. Thanks so much!

I really enjoy these videos. Can you do a video on a typical setup for a long term camp, as opposed to an overnight bivouac in the field? I’m just wondering what all the typical reenactors takes to set up camp besides their tent.

If I have a waterproof canvas ground cloth, is it ok to put a plastic tarp under it?

Got my walled tent with kit a few months ago. I havent set it up yet, but watching this i just realized i only recieved 10 stakes, where this video states i should have received 22. hmmmmmmmm
