Ah, the infamous Frank Special. The bloke's a bloody unicorn. I was recently on a job site installing some computer network cabling and overheard some plumbers pondering their current predicament. One of them called it a Frank Special! I knowingly smiled at them and stopped to ask if I heard that right. Turns out they're fans as well. It would be fun for those who have not watched all of your videos to put together a compilation video of all of the Frank Special's.

Back in the early 80's I had a time trying to clear a toilet. Removed the toilet and when I took it back to the shop I shattered it and found a denture top plate that was acting like a flapper valve randomly! I called the owner and he didn't claim it.

Hello from Senoia, Georgia, US of A. Ollie, I was coming back from the grocery store today & drove past a water treatment plant & it sure did stink. I said to myself, this is about what Ollie & the other plumbers I follow get to smell on a regular basis, I reckon! God bless you and your family.

Water treatment plants are not supposed to smell. If they smell like sewage, then there's a pretty bad problem at the plant. The local water treatment plant nearby here had been mismanaged for well over a decade and the horrific smell engulfed a quarter of the town. The EPA came in and fined them millions of dollars because as it turns out, they were grossly over capacity and were dumping raw sewage directly into the local waterways. The plant was eventually heavily expanded and management was changed. Now the plant operates as it should and no longer smells like an open sewer.
