@@BlockheadMoto My homie put in a rocker switch inside the door on the inner fairing, so he can switch the abs, t/c, & limiter, off at the flick of a switch.. Then when your done acting a fool, flip it back to normal.. We did this and found out from a trip to the drag strip and he showed up on a new 24 RG, it was hitting limiter before crossing the stripe, so we unplugged the abs, front or rear works too, the only downside was the speedo, but gps speedo app is easily used on the screen or a phone. The next weekend he showed up with it done on a switch, and has already nearly ruined a rear tire in 500 miles.. Unplug one plug on the abs module and you immediately get no top speed limiter, no abs, no traction control, only downside, no speedometer.. but most guys have a phone mounted on the bars that can be used as speedo. My buddy that took his 24 RG to the drag strip with us was hitting limiter before the stripe, so we found this out by trying to unplug the abs, it worked perfectly by easily disabling abs, t/c, & speed limiter for a few passes. Then next week he showed up with cleanly spliced and wired to a small rocker switch that he mounted hidden on the inside of the glove box on the inner fairing of the road glide.. He doing burnouts all the time.. The bikes rip..

He makes a point that no-one talks about, ride ability, how an engine delivers torque and horsepower, is just as important as if not more important than peak numbers, if all you get is a quick spike_/\_ you’re going to struggle to put that to use, having a broad power band with a predictable and consistent rate of increase with RPM, a nice gradual but steep ramp upward, you see how the rev limiter was burping just as the mill starts to get rowdy, gearing would put that last few hundred RPMs before the limiter to better use propelling the bike forward much faster, if you had a cvt transmission (variable pressure or weighted clutch pressure plate) or any aftermarket upgrade that buttons up the slippage at that rpm rate, makes all the difference in how the power pushes the bike ahead of what you’re trying to pass.
