The looking forward discussion is a rarity, you all had me concerned last week by your whippersnappery euphoria lean, but you recovered quickly. Well done

for entertainment though not actionable info.. if you plot their perspectives YOY if you blindly put trades on based off what you hear from blockworks macro you would be offsides 75% of ther time

Great discussion. I have a feeling Powell will not let inflation pick back up. Central banks are always fighting the last war and if you look at the inflation from 1970s we should be going up from here and they wont let that happen.

Can you do a video about how transaction fees will need to replace the subsidy ? After 16 years BTC is typically only generating around $200 a minute in transaction fees ($2k per block) to keep the miners and network alive without the mining subsidy which with each halving trends to zero Off-chain L2 transactions drain revenue from miners and we are also seeing a trend towards more BTC moved into ETF's or 'never sell your Bitcoin' mentality which does nothing to support the network Increase the block size or increase the supply 🤔 Peter Todd wrote a paper about increasing BTC coin supply in 2022. most likely why 'they' announced him as Satoshi in the recent HBO Documentary IF (when) the proposal to increase BTC supply happens things could get very interesting for Bitcoin Cash or even BSV which retains the original protocol "set in stone"

FYI - the comment below with the seed phrase is the old “put gas in to move funds” bait and drain. Be extra careful scammers are even more active now.

Money market swelling is because banks are still paying next to nothing for deposits. Good exchange on that.

Best case scenario it’s sell QQQ to buy IWM, worst case scenario sell QQQ to buy bills. IWM going up with rates increasing is throwing me a bit but new year new rules I guess.
@William-c1k23 сағат бұрын
Bud it is all about the deficit. New year same incompetence and lies out there. IWM gets the crumbs from the deficit running through the economy. QQQ still very strong. Private debt picking up steam which will accelerate everything. Not taking into account any exogenous event which would disturb the economy. The bond market is just as irrelevant as the fed.

Somehow Trump is doing government spending cuts, but we plan to keep the deficit going while keeping tax cuts; somehow he’s supporting global capital markets, but then also being pro US labor; somehow anti inflationary, but well magically avoid a deflationary spiral while having a strong dollar… It’s a joke at this point. The cult of personality is so strong & the market & yield curve are screaming this admin is gonna fuck things up for everyone. Not even a Biden fan but the delusion & contradictions are insane.

i recommend actually reading the science grant proposals, especially the implications section, that you're criticizing so confidently. same with US-Ed. federal departments administer funds to the states to engage in programs and research that make the country great. and they prevent the waste everyone is navelgazing about by not replicating funding for different groups. do you want researchers to to go each state individually looking for research funding? national service providers to put in 50 different applications to help provide service? furthermore, the fed provides a model for start administration as well. discounting the importance of federal administration on something as important as education and knowledge production and oversimplifying what the world would be like with states left entirely on their own because of some made up rat example is ~bullshit~
