Paul is not and never was an Apostle. There are 12 thrones on which they will sit. There are 12 foundations of God's kingdom on which their names will be written .If Paul was so important, why is he not included in the rewards given to them. I could go on and on about paul and his gospel.

@@historian07 this explanation is not in the Bible. The Trinity was not official church doctrine until the 4th century, and the historical evidence points to the earliest followers of Jesus having been Unitarian in belief and not worshipers of Jesus

Why Jesus is called FIRST BORN and ONLY BEGOTTEN SON of God? Bible says Jesus was created by God. Before the creation of everything else, God FIRST and DIRECTLY created Jesus Christ.This is the reason why Jesus is called FIRST BORN and ONLY BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD.( Col 1:15,16).

We are Christians because of who Jesus claim to be and what he did. Jesus is the son of God,hence he is God as well. Hebrews chapter 1. Allah is not the God of the Bible.

Churches teach the doctrine of the Trinity this is the belief that God is triune in nature meaning that he exists as three persons the Father , the Son , The Holy spirit , who are all co-equal and co-eternal they claim that the second person of the Trinity God the Son took on flesh in the bodily form of jesus so when mary gave birth to Jesus God is said to have entered into the creation as a human being jesus is said to possess two natures a divine nature and a human nature hence jesus is believed to be both fully god and fully man In this we are going to compare the Trinity to the Bible's teachings to see if the doctrine are scriptural backing the Gospel of Matthew and Mark makes the following statement about God But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. [Matthew 24:36] Here we are told that Only God the Father possesses Knowledge of the hour the Son is said to be ignorant of the hour this means that the Son cannot be God since god by definition has knowledge of all things In the Old testament in Isaiah Chapter 46 verse 9-10 it says 9 “Remember the former things, those of long ago; I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me. 10 “I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say, ‘My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please.’ Matthew Henry Commentary Isaiah verse 9-10 He is God alone, for it is he only that declares the end from the beginning, Isa. 46:10. From the beginning of time he declared the end of time, and end of all things. Enoch prophesied, Behold, the Lord comes. Here Jesus categorically states that no one, which includes himself and the Holy Spirit, knows the Hour, but only the Father. Since they both lack the Father’s knowledge, the Trinitarian claim that the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are equal is false. The co-equality of the persons is a central pillar, without which the foundation of the Trinity comes crashing down. The Quran also talks about the knowledge of the hour , but see if you can spot the difference They ask you ˹O Prophet˺ regarding the Hour, “When will it be?” Say, “That knowledge is only with my Lord. He alone will reveal it when the time comes. It is too tremendous for the heavens and the earth and will only take you by surprise.” They ask you as if you had full knowledge of it. Say, “That knowledge is only with Allah, but most people do not know.” Quran Surah 7:187 The Qur’an puts forward a clear picture of God: …And do not say, “Three”; desist - it is better for you. Indeed, Allah is but one God. Exalted is He above having a son. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And sufficient is Allah as Disposer of affairs. [Chapter 4, verse 171] Unlike the Trinity, the concept of God being one distinct and unique personality - with everything in the creation, Jesus included, belonging to Him - is easy to grasp by anyone, whether child or adult, from the lay person to the scholar. Let’s examine some reasoning that God gives to explain why Jesus cannot have been divine: The Messiah, son of Mary, was no more than a messenger. Many messengers had come and gone before him. His mother was a woman of truth. They both ate food. See how We make the signs clear to them, yet see how they are deluded from the truth! [Chapter 5, verse 75] Notice how God Almighty refers to Jesus as “son of Mary”. This phrase is repeated throughout the Qur’an and reinforces the idea that he is a very human messenger of God. The mention of Jesus eating food is a simple but profound point, anything that needs sustenance cannot be God. The Qur’an doesn’t rely on complicated philosophical arguments when addressing its reader, it is accessible to anyone regardless of age, intelligence and social background. Thus Islam is a universal religion as the Qur’an proclaims: We have sent you [O Prophet] as a bearer of glad tidings and a warner for the whole of mankind, but most people have no knowledge. [Chapter 34, verse 28] We sent to you [Muhammad] the Scripture with the truth, confirming the Scriptures that came before it, and with final authority over them: so judge between them according to what God has sent down. What do we know about Ibrahim? Where is his teaching preserved? This is Ibrahim's teaching. Worship only one Allah. Do not associate something or someone with Allah. Allah has no son or daughter. Allah has three daughters--manat, al-lat, al-uzza. The three daughters were from Satanic verses. Muhammad cannot distinguish the voice of Jibril, Allah, or Shaytan. They all sound alike. How can Allah have a son, when he does not have a wife? If Allah wants to have a wife, he would have taken one from the godkind.

Precisely, so how do you interpret the fact that the gospel authors say that jews (bear in mind jews study the torah the law and would know the real non blasphemous meaning of son of god ) accused jesus of blasphemy (claiming to be god) for saying he's the son of god? How do you make sense of the jews saying jesus blasphemed for something that isn't blasphemy

@@suryaprakash72771 Okay nice so you hold the view that the jews actually did accuse him of blasphemy, but it was a false accusation since they knew these things they accused him of weren't blasphemy, it was just so they could have him killed (jesus was in reality NOT a blasphemer) It's possible, but my question would be why would the jews attribute NON BLASPHEMOUS things to jesus and call it blasphemy in order to have him killed? A charge of blasphemy would have to be put before the sanhedrin (council of jews in authority, but under the roman occupation) and examined to determine if the charge was true or not, so why not attribute truly blasphemous things to jesus? The sanhedrin would obviously see that being "son of god" and "messiah" is not blasphemy, and acquit jesus. Why would the jews do something so nonsensical and daft?

No human can say like that, even if he is a prophet. There's a time difference of 1,800 years between Abraham and Jesus. Only a God in human form could claim that statement.If you look, Exodus 3: 13-14, you could see the same "I am" there from God. Exodus 3:13 Moses said to God, “Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is his name?’ Then what shall I tell them?” 14 God said to Moses, “I am who I am. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I am has sent me to you.’ ” From these two verses we can see the same God with the same name "I am that I am". (2) There's another incident where Jesus saying he and father are "One" not two. John 10:30 "I and the Father are one." No human could say that he and God are "One", only Jesus ( God in human form) could say that statement. Then the Jews got angry and tried to kill him in John 10:33 "The Jews answered Him, saying, “For a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy, and because You, being a Man, make Yourself God.” (3) At the time of his crucification, the Jews asked him "Are you the son of God and he said " Yes I am". See Luke 22:70. "And they all said, "Are You the Son of God, then?" And He said to them, "Yes, I am.". Read Luke 22:71 "And they said, “What further testimony do we need? For we have heard it ourselves from His own mouth.” Since the Jews were looking for this answer, they considered this statement as blasphemy and they told the Roman Governor Pilate to crucify him. (4) Jesus told Philip whoever saw me saw the father In John 14:8-9 8 Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us.” 9 Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?

Alhamdulillah, I am a muslim. But out of curiosity I read Matthew, Mark, Luke, John gospels. And I was quite astounded by the very words I read. More than 95% of the alleged teachings of Jesus (pbuh) in synoptic gospels aligned with Islam. Only in John's gospel I find it emphasized more about seemingly superhuman Jesus (pbuh) rather than his teachings. However, it is really surprising that Christians today do not quote from Matthew, Mark or Luke at all, they either quote from the gospel of John (when divinity of Jesus is questioned) or from the letter of Paul (when salvation is questioned). "If you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins" (Matthew 6:15) A few days ago I asked my Christian friend why Jesus (pbuh) asked us to forgive others when you believe "Jesus died for our sins", and he was speechless. Finally, I request my Christian brothers and sisters to come into Islam because Jesus (pbuh) himself said it. "Only the one who does the will of my Father will enter into heaven" (Matthew 7:21) "Whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother." (Matthew 12:50) And do the will of the Father or submit the will to God in arabic called Islam. Submission to God = Islam. May God guide us towards the truth.

As a muslim I can say-- no muslim is a muslim until he believes in Jesus (pbuh). But interesting that Jesus (pbuh) in the garden of Gethsemane prostrated to God and said "O God if it is possible, take this cup away from me. Yet not as I will, but your Will". So, Jesus (pbuh) himself submitted his will to God.

However I actually do perceive Jesus' identity as the "Son of God" in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke. If I recall, the genealogy thru Mary shows Jesus avoids the curse of King Jehoiakim for which no heir would ever sit on the throne; the genealogy thru Joseph gave Jesus legal heritage. I think it’s more important to distinguish what 1st century believers believed “before” the quote gospels here were canonized. One can’t depend on the current canonized partially fictional books. Who really “knows” what Christianity actually was prior to Constantine and all the aberrations of the Catholic hegemony. For example we know Mark 16: 9-20 was not in the earlier Mark manuscripts yet they are still included in the Bible as if they were.

If the aqeedah of Christianity was Jesus is the Son of God, wouldn't it be reiterated over and over again in every gospel as Allah says repeatedly in the Quran to worship Allah alone, verses that repeat the Oneness of Allah. The testimony of Islam is very clear and precise: that Allah (God) alone is to be worshipped and that Muhammad, the messenger or Prophet of God to follow (not worship) is Muhammad. In Christianity there is God is two, three, the gospels differ. God, not God. So confusing. Faith not meant to be confusing. Life is confusing enough. Religion is there to guide us not second guess what God meant.

Yes He did (Son of God, Son of Man, The Father and I are One, "Before Abraham was, I Am" etc. etc etc.) and everyone who heard this knew *exactly* what He meant, that is, that He was claiming to be God, not some prophet but God Himself! Outrageous, which is why they tried to stone Him more than once for blasphemy. End of story. That He claimed to be God is beyond dispute. You may not like it but that's just tough and doesn't change the facts. You and I may not understand how this can be but that also doesn't change the facts! You want a God who can fit into your and my tiny minds! What an insult to God, how arrogant to say "I don't know how this can be so it must be untrue!" You and I are mere creatures - how dare we say what God can and did do so that our small little brains can understand God's mysteries. Jesus claimed that He was God - deal with it! If you don't want to believe Him that's your choice. But what you cannot do (unless you want to lie to yourself) is change the facts and deny that He made the scandalous claim to be God. That's what He claimed and either He was or He wasn't. And how do we know what He said? Because we have the same Injil referred to in Sura 5:68. We have those same Injil manuscripts way back to before 200CE (way before Muhammed) - so if the Qur'an says that the People of the Book MUST stand on the Injil *that they have* then OBVIOUSLY the Injil the People of the Book have is uncorrupted - Allah would NOT tell Mohammed to tell them to stand on a fake Injil. If you claim the Injil is corrupted, fine, but that's not what Allah says in the Qur'an! The Qur'an clearly says the People of the Book had the Injil at the time of Muhammed and we KNOW we have that same Injil today - we HAVE the same manuscripts all written within 30-70 years after Jesus - the same manuscripts the People of the Book had when Muhammed gave them the command to stand on the Injil. If Sura 5 is correct then we have the same Injil today and we have the words of Jesus and He claimed to be God! Facts are facts.

@@user-hq2nz7cu6v Dear friend, to understand what these words and ideas mean we need to know what they mean in the Torah and the Prophets as that is what Paul was drawing on when he wrote his letters to the Corinthians (and they weren't written in English). It's not simple, it takes study. Just like in the Qur'an, words and ideas are used that are not always simple to understand and which one can only understand with reading and studying.

The entire basis for the Jews crucifying or attempting to crucify Jesus was that he claimed to be god. Matthew 26:63-66. Mark 14:61-64. Luke 22:70-71. In these three accounts the high priest Caiphas asked Jesus if he was God. When Jesus said yes the Jews set there plans in motion to have him crucified.

When it counted. When his life depended on it, all 3 synoptic gospels record Jesus as agreeing with the High Priest that he is the Son of God. And they crucified him for this blasphemy. There is no evolution of this idea over time. It always was the case that Jesus considered himself the Son of the Living God. This is a big deal for Christians, since it proves that Jesus' family line traces back all the way to Adam! ... Adam, the first ever person ever created... The scriptures has to be understood in the language that was revealed to Jesus and the written documents by his followers at the time ?. For example Praying , fasting, etc we’re all in the original Bible. So can we say the Christians who were misled are responsible for this misinformation or no information at all ? Who is responsible? Wait! What? The genealogies are not actually genealogies. Interesting. They do trace a line of people back through the generations to Abraham (Matthew) and to Adam (Luke), right? And there is no reason to think the people named were not real people and were not related. We do know (unless Paul, the blogger here, is going to be so skeptical that he denies even this) that Jesus was a human being born of Mary. But Paul's point is that Jesus was not the son of Joseph. Well, that is no huge revelation, the genealogies say that. But if we read on, we find that Joseph took Mary as his wife (before she gave birth), and that made Jesus Jospeh's son by legal adoption. That was why Jospeh did what he did. He was not trying to hide the fact that Mary was pregnant before the marriage, everyone knew that. Joseph's marriage to Mary made Jesus his legal son. Since in Mattherw, Jesus was a human being and the adopted son of Joseph who was related to David, that made Jesus a son of David -- through Solomon. In Luke Jesus was a human being and the adopted son of Jospeh, making him a son of David, but through another line. That is what many including Paul find confusing. But it should not be. Putting the many connections and the probable complications of things like Levirate marriages and the fact that genealogies in the Bible do not often include every individual in the line aside, the point Luke is making is that Jesus was born to a mother who was related by blood to David. So, Jesus is not only legally a son of David in the line of Solomon but is also a son of David by blood through his mother. That is all that is going on. Is that so complicated? Does in require some fictional addition to the narrative? I do not think so.

Interesting that Jesus said to Simon ( Peter), "this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven". I wonder what Jesus actually meant by this statement to Peter? Jesus himself asks "But who do you say that I am?"" The ANSWER IS in YOUR Bible BUT it's up to YOU to accept it or deny and look for excuses and escape routes. And the weird thing is that supposedly the Gospel of Mark is based upon the remembrances of Peter himself. So if Peter had indeed said to Jesus "You are the Son of God", would not such a statement have been included in the Gospel of Mark ?? So I appreciate your honesty about Mark and Matthew. I'm not fully convinced that Matthew did make an embellishment in his Gospel but it's something I need to pray about and seek guidance. Unfortunately your observation reinforces the "Synopsis problem" ( the problem of the differences between Matthew, Mark and Luke ). To be honest, I don't understand why, if it's true, that Matthew would have desired to add the embellishment to Peter's confession. Was Matthew an eyewitness of this confession by Peter? If Matthew added the embellishment because of his own personal belief ( that Jesus was "the Son of God" ), then why didn't Matthew Himself make the confession directly to Jesus?? Honestly I am confused. This supposedly embellishment doesn't necessarily make me doubt that Jesus was the "Son of God", but I understand better now why Paul ( of Blogging Theology ) became a Muslim !! Speaking as one of those Christian people, the Jews killing Jesus was part of God's plan to start with (Acts 2:22-24). Also the sins of the fathers are not to be visited on their children (Ezekiel 18:1-20). Also as Christians we are called upon not to judge others unless we want to come under judgement ourselves (Matt 7:1). There have been plenty of cases where hatred of the Jews for killing Jesus has been invoked by various Christian figures - I'm thinking here of Martin Luther as an example - but doing so is unwise at best, and arguably unchristian in any case.

I really do pity Christians, deeply so. You should also start researching foundation of Islam and you are in for a shock. Origin of prayers come from Zoroastrians (5 prayers at around the same time and even for the wudu), then the pilgrimage is what pagan did, and lot of others things that were copy-pasted or remixed to create a system. Also how verse came upon the prophet when he felt his authority was threatened etc there was actually lot of self-serving aspect on how verse descended which is very weird as a true prophet would obey and be scared of God and not use God for his own benefits.

I'm working on this topic, through hebrew and aramaic language. First, thank to the word Nazareth or Nazarean, I had debunked the existence of any Joseph in Jesus story : he was invented by proto-christian to link Jesus to David, as the rabbies asks. Second, Jesus didn't stop saying "Bar An Nass" (son of the man), probably because he was tired to listen ignorant people and idolaters trying to call him "son of god". Jesus used to preach a lot in Samaries, land of "lost sheeps of Israel", thus their mis-used of the hebrew expression "son of god".

Don't get your point. When Jesus was praying God, don't think he was at His image, but His servant, submitted to God.
