Dogs are constantly improving. Reports are that Sitili Tupouniua will join the Dogs by the of the week. They will make the 8. Next year they will have 2 genuine front rowers joining along with big forwards coming through the grades. They are in really good shape for the next 10 years.

Referee discussion 100% spot on. They love a “square up” penalty to get teams back in the game to keep the eyeballs on the advertising. It’s like they give into some cognitive bias or worse they are being instructed to do so - either way it’s not professional quality.

I didn't know about that, but that's low, Nicho is a top bloke, no idea why anyone would give him any shit. I know he missed a sitter and had that little 'incident' with Reed Mahoney......but there was nothing in that, they just got a little hot under the collar, so what? I feel like Jahream has been fine, not stand out, but not like pressure on his spot bad. But I feel like the difference between this year and last year is that his touches are fewer due to the rise of Galvin. Suddenly last year when Bula was the go to guy, now he’s having to sit back and let Galvin dictate how he’s used and chip in when needed. Like sadly as well, in comparison, Galvin is a far more well rounded and polished footballer, so as well just an eye test on both blokes, the shine is just taken off Jahream a little.

1:33:30 for me it's not about penalty count, it's penalty quality. I probably pay less attention to count than I actually should. I'm also starting to feel uneasy about the 6 again thing... as you guys say, way too easy, and it does feel like it's giving refs too much control in terms of directing the game rather than reffing it at times.
