I honestly truly have never had an interest in listening to professionals about this stuff before, the lingo and way they explain things make me so bored and annoyed... I'll just shave my head Brenda. But I mean it when I say your videos are SO refreshing, simple, clear, and somehow not boring even if you're being technical. You should teach this stuff for a living if you're not already. Thank you again from me and my pale blond hair!

I went to cosmetology school, graduated, had the cutest shop, and failed. I have no confidence whatsoever. School seemed so rushed for me. I can get more out of one of your videos than I did in the 18 months i went to school. You are the best!! Thank you for explaining things so well! ❤

Thank you so much for your demonstration. This is one of the reasons I let the pros handle my touch ups, highlights and color changes. Seeing that line and yellow cast is a dead giveaway of a DIY gone wrong. Going forward when someone freaks when inquiring about the price, I'm sending tgem to your page and this video specifically. Then they will be able to see the work involved. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

It’s ironic that you posted this today. I am just now seeing it after I touched up my roots this evening. I had a little breakage, but it is not easy doing it yourself. I have much respect for you and other stylist. You guys are awesome!! Thanks for the video. This will be my last touch up. I will be going darker, natural, for fall and winter. Hopefully, I will remember the conditioner when I bleach next time.

@@itsbelela thank you! I may need to check that out. I just saw another professional try and rank about 10 sally bleaches to see how they stack up and 3 stood out. Bondbar was not in the mix nor was the ion cream bleach, which i use but I'm about to switch up because I was very impressed by the Age beautiful/zotos ultra bond lightener. It lightened the most and I see now it has quite the cult following. Her pick for all around was Wella but everyone was surprised by the GENERIC BRAND at sally. It was great. Easily as good as wella and better than ion powder. The reason ultra bond wasn't her favorite was based on smell. She said it was strong but every single brand are tried to took the level 2 sample to 7.5 in one 45 minute session with 20v except ultra bond that went to at least an 8 and they have a cream as well. Wow did I just write this much about lightener on a simple response? Lol. I did. I just did my roots and I'm not happy. Back to sally since I can't get the professional stuff from Amazon like just a year ago. Than you for the bondbar recommendation. I think that's the one my daughter just told me about. Hmmmm... Which one will I try. Ty💕

This tutorial was so good. I have watched it 2 times already. I was blonde, but it is so expensive to maintain because I have to try to outrun the gray! I transitioned from brown to blonde so I could eventually rock my silver grey but the demarcation between color is killing me so I decided to going platinum. Your tutorial addressed so many questions. I have bleached before and hated the results, so I went to the salon. I have to cut the salon color cord! You have given me the tools to do it!

Question do you tone the whole head or just where you did the bleach thanks
@Manchessollte4215 ай бұрын
Also, a question--if I do this step, then tone, and still have kinda yellower roots.... Was my toner not strong enough, was the developer not strong enough, or did I not leave it on long enough?
@AprilLovesDIY3 ай бұрын
Hey girl. I have a question. If I need to go back do my last done roots again(was not processed fully-or didn’t have enough bleach not sure -but my first time doing it myself) should I do the new growth and then go in and color correct the old roots or is this way easier to do before doing the new dark roots? I’m stuck??

This sweet and low what do you do please, mix it then dab it on?
@brittneealexushair4 ай бұрын
you can literally just pour it on the parts that are burning- it works really well and fast
@babs6293 ай бұрын
I'm just dying to know the origins of exactly how someone discovered that putting sweet n low on a clients burning scalp actually helped stop the burning process while they were getting their hair done. I'm imagining a really great "Saturday Night Live" skit. 😆

If this girl were actually just licensed, let alone knowledgeable, she wouldnt be putting crap from sallys on herself or even the doll
@brittneealexushair9 күн бұрын
feel free to check my license for verification in GA and TN. this channel is dedicated to people at home, which in most cases professional hair color is not an option. I wouldn’t teach or show anything I wouldn’t do on myself. Have a great day🤍
