debbie's voice is still so strong. she is such an inspiration! when blondie got big, she was already in her 30s.. it never occurred to me until now that she is only a year younger than my mother... wow! yet seemingly 15 years younger and timeless. such a beauty. why today's music is so ruled by tweens and teens... sexy, true sexy starts in your 30s.

Wow. It's so nice to hear her voice so clearly, out in front and not overwhelmed with loud instruments. Still Debbie after all these years!

This song is the surprising highlight of this "by request" performance. They were a great band who could transform their sound to anything!

What an amazing woman! She gave excitement and energy to music in the 70s. Her voice and attempts have matured. She takes chances with her music, and she always shines. Yes, she was a beautiful young thing in the 70s. I was young, too. She is older, and so am I. I respect her recent musical contributions! Blondie--Debbie Harry--forever! You go, girl! Always in my heart!!!

This would be a very difficult song for most professional singers to perform in the studio, without software assistance. To nail it live like this, without missing a note, is incredible.

An acquaintance in college (1978-1980) was totally mesmerized by DH; I was unmoved. Now, as an older man, I think she was totally hot in my college days and like her public personna, too. I still like modern DH. She has aged gracefully. I like her personality. If her looks would ever go, she would still be a beautiful person to me.
@luciferthomas15 жыл бұрын
I still love her voice. I've heard much younger performers that absolutely suck live. As for her looks, hell yes she is still gorgeous, she simply isn't a gorgeous 20 year old, but a gorgeous 60 year old. Why do people only think you can be beautiful if you look young?

Although they are a longstanding pop group, their versatility in the types of songs they can do well is amazing to me. Debbie Harry is super on this vocal as, I think, she always is.

The more I listen, the more this song grows on me! I went to Amazon (no Digital Rights controls) and downloaded it for $0.99. Like other posters here, I wish that she had developed more in this direction. Her voice has changed, but it is great! The simple acoustic accompaniment is just wonderful! I have always liked her voice, then and now!

Gorgeous rendition of a gorgeous song from a gorgeous woman. Thankfully she abandoned this hairstyle shortly after, although she was also donning the Hillary Clinton look for a short while. Hopefully both looks gone for good. 😂

I'm so sad because I know debby only now, and she is so change, I like she, debby the star of the years 70'...sorry for my bad english...but I'm a young italian boy that love "blondie" but maybe I love Debby in "heart of glass" the most beautiful song of blondie. Guadare questo video mette tristezza, perchè mi accorgo di come assa il tempo, guardando sfiorire la bellezza di Debby. io ho solo 19 anni, ma sono innamorato di lei, della sua musica, della sua voce.

I think is simply incredible. Remember she caned the drugs when in her pomp and so it's clear she hasnt faired so bad. She will always remain one of the most influencial female artist in my lifetime. Im only 33 but loved there music when I was a mere youngster. Its simpmy timeless music. Charasmatic, sexy and alluring in her pomp. Sophisticated and classy now. Long live Debbie and the band. Lets here it for Clem as well. What a drummmer.
