I ran into her once, literally ran into her. I was entering a breakfast place in the Village in NYC, she was coming out the door and I was going in and I walked right into her! I apologized profusely and she said "don't worry about it honey", it was in the early 1990's.

Her Blondie album is still one of my favorites, the disco remix from the early 2000s of the album is clearly off the charts, driving around listening to it in the car at full volume is incredible on a good stereo system. She is one class act, a true trailblazer and actually a great human being, she has stood up for so many causes and used her celebrity to help, and at the same time wise and nobody’s fool. I met Debby once back in the 90's when she was doing jazz performances with the Jazz Passengers. I can tell you that she was every bit a kind and sweet soul as you see here. Saw the band recently play at The Paramount in Huntington, NY and it was night that I won’t forget. She made an awesome entrance and the crowd went wild! One of my idols, and celeb crushes lol.
