The Queen of Cool. When Debbie first appeared the scene in 1978 the whole world fell in love with her. We all loved her singing of course, but we we all taken aback by how damn COOL she was!!! And guess what? She's still cool as hell. Who could possibly be cooler than Debbie Harry?

Many may not have known this but even though he had made a lot of reggae hit covers of other artistes songs, John Holt had composed this one and had recorded it with the band "The Paragons" in the 60s, but it wasn't even heard of till Blondie made a hit cover of it. I'm still glad that they put in some reggae feel to their version. Not bad for a Pop/Rock band! We out in the Caribbean have good talent too, just wish we would get the credit we deserved. (sigh)... Rest In Peace John Holt, you shall be remembered.....
