10 RMB for the Kiwano fruit is quite affordable! I do occasionally see these fruits around in the supermarket here in Singapore, but they are a lot more expensive and actually, usually they are from New Zealand. So you might be able to find them in Australia too.

Amy, that fruit (horned melon?) is available here in Australia. I first saw it in Sydney (must’ve been something like Top Juice) I thought it looked so odd that I asked them what it was and they gave me a piece to try! I’m from Guangzhou and have been back to visit a gazillion times + been to other cities in China but had no idea this city existed! It looks amazing, the atmosphere is buzzing 💕

That fruit, the Kiwano, we have in most supermarkets in Sydney. First time I saw those was back in the 1970s Adelaide (I'm old). They taste okay as a fruit in fruit salad, but nothing special. Like Star Fruit - they look cool but they're not much to taste.
