Leshan is our first stop in China and we are eating our way around based on your videos! We went to Jiu Jiu Doufunao today and will have to try the bean curd place tomorrow which is next to where we are staying. These videos have been amazing for us and our terrible lack of Mandarin, thanks 😊

Another lovely food adventure!! I really like the packaging on that "less fizzy Fanta" drink you tried at 12:20. It says "63" on there which sounds like Leshan in mandarin (and it's cute that all the local food specialties were put there on the logo as well). Amy have you tried 凉糕? It's like 冰粉 but made with rice instead so it has a creamy opaque color, bouncy like 冰粉 but with a much more pronounced fragrance from the grains. It's usually less fancy with toppings, perfect with just thick brown sugar syrup. Pretty sure you can find it anywhere in Sichuan.

Halal restaurants generally sell beef Lamian Noodles, Mutton shashlik, Gaifan, and perhaps some halal restaurants also sell some marinated beef, smoked fish, beef Potsticker

top tips: Go to Nanshan Bamboo Sea in Zhejiang and Jiangsu for vacation. The climate there is much better. There are bamboo forests to escape the summer heat. There are also giant pandas, ancient towns, Hanfu activities, bamboo forest cable cars, and bamboo forest food. You can experience it. A very luxurious experience, the bamboo sea is only available in China,It can be called China's Little Switzerland. SHU NAN bamboo sea in Sichuan, XI CHUAN bamboo sea can also go on vacation

you should visit Raoping! 饶平黄冈. It's also part of 潮州 but it's more local with specialties! 肖米,肠粉,薄饼,虾饼,猪肠胀糯米,无米果 and much more specialties!

Correct me if I’m wrong, I thought LeShan would be pronounced similar to the number 6 3 in Sichuan dialect, and probably that’s why the drinks bottle Amy you showed in the video is mentioned one of the drinks of local specialties? 😂 overall, really enjoyed your video and so mind blown with so many delicacies in Le Shan. Definitely wanna try all of them when I travel to China. Well done
