Dark haired and dark skinned people are mostly from the south of Italy (we are mostly of Germanic and Gaelic descent, due to invasions thought the centuries) and, even in the South, thanks to Norse and Germanic invasions, there area bounty of people with fair hair and skin. My last name is typical of the region of Piedmont, in the North West Italy, where there are a lot of people with last names which are either Boer, Boerci, Boeri and so on. In my family, we all have either grey or blue eyes and blonde hair. Thanks for asking:-(

I've been throughout Northern Italy in the Swiss/Italian alps. You just have a different exotic look to you. My top two favorite places in the world are Horta Faial Azores Portugal and South Tyrol Italy in the Dolomites. Northern Italians are the best. I'd move there in a heartbeat! I'm heading back out there either this December or January, to meet with my new cooking instructor in Tuscany. From there, off to Genoa, then the Dolomites (South Tyrol & Bolzano), unsure about anywhere in the south, due to their giant illegal migrant disaster.

Twenty some years ago I and my wife were in Liuzhou Guangxi visiting a night market. Liuzhou back then was kind of like a third tier industrial town. We passed by a particularly busy food cart seeing a Latino-looking man selling Al Pastor tacos. The tacos looked very much like those I would get from street vendors from East L.A.

That cup of fresh soy milk is actually a daily breakfast for most people in China. There's also a meme that coffee is somewhat of a kind of soy milk because it's called coffee bean (咖啡豆) in China. Thus, we could say soy milk is present as Chinese coffee.

My dad use to eat that with plain white rice if no porridge. The strong favour works very well together with food that has not much favour.
I have created a very tasty sweet Chinese pizza used 酒酿,黄油 and 桂皮粉. Even Western friends can't stop eating it. For vegetable pizza, please try 马兰头豆腐丁 (I used chopped spinach garlic and tofu)pizza, really tasty.
