I don't think it is it's been around for a Long time never been a problem I definitely saw cards more broken like soul charge multiple trishula multiple draw spells etc level eater was the least broken card in the deck

@@TrianglePants it could come back to 3 easily it's not broken the whole problem with this deck was all the other cards it had in combination Konami likes to ruin/ban other cards instead of problem cards like for instance upstart goblin being limited or the synchro that adds field spell cards to hand another good example of cards unfairly banned

@@TrianglePants Put an HOPT errata on Level Eater. It'll become 500% useless. The only errata it would have is to me limited to Synchros. Cuz Level Eater was banned because of Links.

Level Eater wasn't broken. 3 Omega was broken. After Omega was hit to 1, Level Eater saw absolutely no play in any deck whatsoever. Everyone uses Level Eater as some kind of a scapegoat instead of seeing Omega as the real issue. Level Eater was not broken until links came out

Bro. Nothing in the deck can be at par with that deck because of Powercreep. Toss anything at it and it won't do zip. If the BLOOD player wasn't able to play Spell Canceller...They would've lost 3 - 0. Stratos and Plasma? Ha! Nope. They are completely useless against these better decks. They would only win if the deck they went against didn't had trickery or play restriction. In this case, they got lucky to summon out Spell Canceller early on to cripple Dark Synchro up. When the main deck relies on its extra deck to win, that's a problem. They both need to synergize or you will only be a one trick pony. Overall, this was a poor matchup. The worst one in the cup so far. Can't wait to watch the next match though.

That card should be at 3 the whole problem of this deck was all the power spells it had access to and it's extra deck level eater is a completely fair card multiple Omega and Trish with pot of avarice monster reborn trishula and big ass level 8 synchro that negates was the issue level eater wasn't infact fun fact no one gave a shit about level eater until links and dark synchro before

Infact the only deck playing this card was dark synchro chicken game soul charge monster reborn pot of avarice multiple trishula multiple Omega level eater so almost no use in competitive play until dark synchro a card so broken as everyone says was not doing anything except in dark synchro

If spyral could use level eater plus master plan they could Extra Link no questions asked. So yeah people slept on that card for a long time but no way in hell can it come back now

As a viewer who quit YuGiOh the set after Duelist Alliance (Pendulums were a stupid idea), I love seeing the older decks have a crack at the newer ones and showcase the games history. However, watching that hand loop thing was possibly my least favourite way I've ever seen Bloo-D lose and reminds me of why Wind Ups were so unpopular back in the day. The old decks being allowed to play is what makes CBC interesting and seeing Bloo-D only being allowed to play cards in just one game out of four is a really hard watch.

Crazy 30 cards in that list are limited/banned rn in the tcg for dark synchro. Next one could go either way, but i think it being the trish version over the barrier version hurts synchro cat more since cold wave isnt as good. 3-2 infernity, but going first should matter a lot :]

Goes to prove that Hand Traps have completely power crept the whole game cause Bloo-D just had no answer what so ever except maybe DD Crow, but again it can't be helped without a way to stall the opponent. As for the next deck, Going First will decide this match up more, but I am betting on Infernity

Out of everything in the fourth duel, I do not believe the Maxx "C" should have daunted you because you had nothing to lose anyway. You spent two games getting utterly wiped with just a five card hand and more cards weren't exactly going to change that. Hoping for the best wasn't a good idea at all.
