Great news to hear you will be doing a rule series for this game. I was considering getting this set when trying to figure out how to get back into warhammer and actually play a game with the minis instead of getting overwhelmed by 40k or AoS. With help from your videos I saw your warcry content and saw that was the best place to start but have still quite liked the idea of bloodbowl. Your rules videos have been vital for me in learning warcry as I tend to find reading the rule books always leaves me a bit unsure on specifics (cover for example is only a couple of sentences in the warcry rulebook). Looking forward to learning more about bloodbowl. Love the seraphon team!

I don’t know enough about the game to say for sure, but I think they are comedically unbalanced and unfair and it’s a game that is certainly fun to lose. I’ll do some rules videos next month and I’ll do a video about this topic too if you like? Would be fun to look into it. 👊

Great review mate. I've been eyeing this box for a few days but didn't know if it was worth it. I'm from Australia, so down here it's like $230/122 pounds. Is it worth that much? Like, is it really an enjoyable game?

Thank you! Oooh £122 is pricey but I guess all the GW products are higher over there? If you price up all the products at UK prices individually, the set would still be good for that price, though. The older versions came with just the two teams, no star players, big guys or referees so there’s a lot included and the hardback book is excellent. If my only option was £122 I think I’d still get it based on previous gameplay but if you don’t have lots of people with teams to play against, you might want some extra teams as well. Having all the stats in the book is great and it means you could proxy the miniatures easily if you have local 3D printing suppliers or access to printing files and a printer yourself. Edit: It is super fun to play!
