I can remember my stepdad building and painting 1st edition Blood Bowl: all metal sculpts back then! But we never played a game. They were only ever displayed in a cabinet.

Oh cool! My friend had some of those early metal minis too and we never played with them either but remember them being great sculpts

@@nickamckenna I had the cardboard standup edition also. The next edition was with the poly board - Think i still have that edition in the loft along with my Space Hulk and Dark future boxes.😆

We just ordered the box. I've already picked up a seperate rulebook, the 2022 Almanac, a Norse team and bases for my old metal Vampires 🙂

@@JamHammer Will do, I already came up with names for my teams: the Altdorf Archdukes (Imperial Nobility), the Jotunheim Frostgiants (Norse) and the Sylvania Sunshines (Vampires). I would like to add a Yethee to the Norse but I'm divided between paying €40 for the official one from Forge World or €42,50 for a set of 3 from AoS and convert one myself.

man some of the Imperial Nobility models absolutely suck, at least 4 of them have trouble standing up straight (2 of them only have one foot touching the ground) or need to be re-glued constantly. may have to add additional support at this stage
