AB blood group persons will not have Anti-A or Anti-B antibodies in their blood, because A and B antigens are already present in their RBCs. So if there are no anti- A or Anti- B antibodies, they can receive blood from A group, B group, AB group and even O group. So they are called Universal Recipients
