The only reason that I can think of Miklo and Magic acting seriously bothered by Montana’s death, would be them both trying to throw off any suspicion that may arise by any of the other La Onda members, to what they both orchestrated. Other than that, if they really tried to portray that Miklo and Magic were really genuinely upset about what they had both done to Montana, then that’s just plain bad story-telling.

This was a painful scene because it just goes to show how easy people are manipulated and played, and how unfaithful the people closest to you can be. Poor Wallace had no idea of the scheme behind the hit, all he knew was he had motive for revenge when La Unda used Carlos's brother Smokey on the streets to blow up the black social club, owned by Wallace's brother. One of the best street gang movies ever. Top 5 easily. My mom loved this movie. My mom grew up in southeast California during the 50s and 60s I grew up in san diego during 70s and 80s. Both of us around the vato pochuco culture. We are white but family, friends, mostly hispanic. Pops was a mechanic who loved working on low riders and hotrods. The areas we lived weren't always the best so I was around Mexican gang lands so this resonates with me. This type of shit was where I lived who I knew.most of our friends families had a few members in gangs. One gang that was brutal in San diego was los locos.they had heavy ties to cartels and they didnt use guns. It was all about the knives bats crobars they were sneaky like that.

Yeah but his mentality was gonna get everyone killed. The drug games was where it was at and Montana had a good vision to have Black and Brown standing together but Bonafide didn’t want that he wanted Black to rule everything and Miklo knew that. Bonafide even tells his right hand in the clip that Miklo doesn’t have a choice but to stand with him implying that either the BGA was gonna do the same thing Onda ended up doing to them later or he would make Miklo a puppet of the BGA like the AV did to Carlos
