thoughts from the first 4 mins of your review. I think their amalgamation of Krautrock/Ambient and Death Metal together is a very cool concept especially when a death metal band is in the cosmic realm. Speaking from a fan of ambient music too though but its something newish or at least different than what many other atmospheric bands already do and its unique to Blood Incantation. I love it.

Nile's new one absolutely rips, but for me I enjoy this one just a little bit more, as I LOVE all the 70s prog rock elements!

my big issue with this album is that it feels like two parts that are never combined. The songs literally alternate between Morbid Angel /Nocturnus copy and Pink Floyd copy, without ever combining the two in a meaningful way. Like someone switching to a new song every couple minutes. I hear tons of potential here, tho. But for now, I have the same experience putting old school death metal and psychedelic Rock on shuffle and see what happens

Great album...I never felt it was too spacey, just a nice mix of synth with heaviness. Will need many more listens to figure out where this fits into the year, but I know its top shelf stuff.

Please, please do yourself a favor and check out “Solitaire” by Isbjörg which released today… ab UNBELIEVABLE song from the most underrated prog band in the world… only 131 monthly listeners!! No need for a video, I just think you would enjoy :) and they have an album coming on November 1st!!
