It was super forgettable. At the film festival I saw this at, it was preceded by The Haunted Swordsman (it was roughly 15 minutes IIRC). After Blood Machines was done, we were more intrigued by the short than the feature we actually bought tickets for.

Highest budget CHEAP film ever. I was Soo disappointed with this movie. The trailer was the best thing. This was not even close to as exciting as the turbo killer video. The acting was terrible, music was actually boring when there was music. The only thing good was the visuals. I watched each episode hoping it would get better... But nope. 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️

When they filmed Turbo Killer, they ended up writing an entire backstory. Galactic lore, factions, etc. They had so much, and also so much unused footage and new ideas, they decided they HAD to make a movie out of it.

They said it will be shown in a few theatres around Europe and North America as well as film festivals. It's mostly going to be in the theatres that specialize in indie movies and art films so if there's one close to you keep an eye out.
