It took SO LONG for the second season to be officially shown that I thought Netflix had secretly cancelled. I can only hope season 3 gets made quicker because we need more good shows about Greek mythology.

Listening to Fred talking about Hades' character and the Underworld and how it all works is making me super excited for S2, I can barely control the emotion!!! Could BoZ have one, if not *the* , most loyal adaptation of Hades and the Underworld in animation ever?!! And the fact that Fred asked for the Hades and Persephone scene to be while on Zoom with Lara Pulver (Persephone's VA) is making me so emotional😭 I absolutely adore when voice actors can work with each other, that they can react to one another. That's how I believe voice acting should always be. But I understand how it's been a long while that it's nearly impossible to get actors at the same place at the same time to work. All the more reason for me to thank Frad Tatasciore for the request!!!

I love that the Hades/Demeter/Persephone plotline is going to be so prominent in Season 2. Demeter was actually a very popular deity in Ancient Greece (like Poison Ivy/Wanda levels popular) but modern culture hasn't paid as much attention to her as her counterparts so this is very exciting. Also the Medusa spin-off sounds amazing!!

I am really looking forward to binge watching Season 2. I hope they don't trun Hera into pure "evil". I like how multi-faceted she was in Season 1. Grace looks so glamorous with great hair and make up.

Like they said hopefully there isnt a big wait period between seasons, and that people watch the show and support their great work, Netflix needs to do a better job advertising their shows, idk how studios manage to produce anime for years without breaks. I cant wait to watch!

Blood of Zeus was the first anime I watched as a non-anime fan and it got me hooked! Love that you got an interview with these folks and can’t waitttt for the next season. I’ll take any Greek mythology I can get

Really if you look at the “ original” mythology. Hades didn’t really kidnap her. Zeus is Persephone’s father and set up an arrange marriage behind Dameters back so Zeus Mary are off to Hades. Then Demeter gets angry and Zeus was the bad guy the whole time. Because from a cultural perspective for the perspective of Ancient Greece, it wasn’t a kidnapping. It was an arrange marriage.

But the fact that they are doing the r4pe apologist storyline with Persephone and Hades is NOT ok. Real women have their 4buse re-narrated for them all the time as if they were willing participants. It is not ok.
