With all the shit in my life, I am somehow still healthy and able to donate blood. Usually my iron is too low, (not anemic, but not high enough for donation) but yesterday I finally successfully donated O-! Super grateful that I have the opportunity to help save lives, and I'll keep donating until they tell me I can't 😁

When I finally got 18 years old I went to the station, but was told I can't donate blood because I have to take iron. So I stopped taking iron for just a few days, then the doctor checked my blood and it was already really down. So I have to take it like everytime and can't stop. And as long as I take it, I can't donate blood and I am so so sad about it!i would love to donate blood. Its so sad lol

Just a little tip, even if your skin is not dry you should still be using a moisturizer after you wash your face! If you don’t moisturize it can actually cause your skin to break out, even if you have acne prone or oily skin. Especially if you’re using a spot treatment as well! There’s a ton of really good moisturizers at the drug store, my favorite is neutrogena. Hopefully that was helpful even though it was completely unsolicited advice lol!! Really enjoyed the video, love you!!

My dad’s TPN has always had a silver bag over it - I suspect they use the same type for all TPN within the same health district regardless as it’s just to protect from light.

Oh gosh a maintenance guy was killed by the coffee vending machine in my uni last year. He was found at night time when there weren't many people walking about and I think the verdict was he was electrocuted which made his heart stop. There was some charring on the floor around the machine too. I was very reluctant to use those machines for a while and I still just press the buttons right in the middle of the plastic cover.

I have one trough MedicAlert. It has all your medical information ie allergies, disabilities, other emergent things. They assign a number, it has a 1-800 number that first responders or hospital can call. They give you a wallet card that has all the information as your bracelet as well as emergency contact, meds, missing person information. They send you 2 card so that you can give it to your significant other

Hi darling, I’m in aromatherapy school, be careful where you buy oils. The only ones I trust currently (because they provide lab testing) is plant therapy and aromatics. Be sure when you pick out lavender that it has the Latin name “Lavandula angustifolia.” Other lavenders, such as spike lavender can cause issues with certain health ailments like epilepsy. Always dilute (5 drops per 30ml/oz is a good low 1% dilution... most recommended in people with chronic health issues), if you do use them neat (undiluted) do not do it often as it can cause you to develop an allergy. Personally vetiver puts me to sleep. First time I ever studied it (had to take a few nice Wiffs hahaha) I had to lie down for a nap. I’m also a potsy/mcas patient. Lots of love ❤️❤️
@hannahw65615 жыл бұрын
Ps... i also use vetiver in inhalers for people for panic attacks... works pretty good! So does bergamot (which is phototoxic so better for inhalation or use on skin that will not* be exposed to the sun), bergamot smells delicious (citrus) vetiver smells earthy.

If you use a green corrector on your spots, under your concealer, you'll negate the red. Yellow will negate purples...

I always thought I had oily skin. I started moisturizing and my skin is completely normal now. It turned out my skin was so dry that I was overproducing, once I evened that out my pimples almost completely went away except for a few tiny ones before my period. PLEASE MOISTURIZE after you wash. Try it for 10 days, you might have an "aha" moment.

Death by vending machine...is a real thing. People shake the machine if their selection doesn’t fall to the bottom. Some shake it hard enough that it falls on them. Is a candy bar really worth it? 😳
@elanagreene11045 жыл бұрын
Definitely get a good moisturizer. When you are treating acne most products dry your skin out and causes acne to get worse (even if you are oily) . If you are not moisturizing your skin also will over produce oil to over compensate for stripping your skin of its moisture while cleansing. I work in the beauty industry as a makeup artist however i have a huge focus on skincare. Home this helps. Keep in mind not all acne is bacterial. There is hormonal acne as well. They are actually treated very differently. If its bacterial than using a probiotic such as greek yogurt on your skin. Unfortunately hormonal skin issues are harder to treat however i found that the eminence eight greens (hot) mask helps astronomically! It has paprika which brings oxygenation to the surface of the skin (which makes bacteria harder to grow) it also has a high natural estrogen which helps target the hormonal breakouts! Good luck. You look great. Keep up the good work :)

Amy, I saw on TV someone who had sepsis through a blocked and infected picc line used for tpn, it had happened so many times that they couldn't change the line, so they flushed the line with several different types of antibiotics into the patient, she was back again with the same thing a few months later, I guess she wasn't adhering to sterile procedures!🇬🇧👍😊
