what made it crash less? My game crashes about 30% of time when it is in loading screen.

@@JoonKimDMD From my personal experience, most if not all, of my current crashes are happening from my system memory and paging file getting filled up and this is because the game still has memory leaks which are yet to be fixed. If you have 16 GB or ram or less then the game will crash almost all the time. I had to upgrade my system memory to 24 GB just to stop the game from crashing for now. (still does but not frequently)

Please keep making these update videos, makes me really happy to see the progress. One question I got though is do you recommend downloading the emulated bloodborne later when it is really "perfect" or just download it now and just experience it with how it is now? The main thing I'm confused about is if I have to manually redownload things for each update or will it update on its own through Shadps4.

March 24 2025 is the 10yr anniversary of Bloodborne! Let's hope that by then it will be even more stable on pc. Hopefully Sony has something planned🤞🏽 I purchased the game on release day and a 60fps patch would definitely be great.

yes! these update videos are the best, please keep making them! my game is running great for me, its so nice going back to this game again. I noticed in shadps4, today my firmware reads as 4.00 ( yesterday was 4.50) and the size of bloodborne is now 58.4gb, everything still runs good but has anyone else had this happen?

Hmm let me check my FW right now EDIT: Still shows 4.50 Bloodborne File size went from 29.3 GB to 58.4GB.... that's strange...

Still crashes (often) more so when using resolution patches. Still not rendering fog gates. Still having parts of the map not load in after moving far away. Far from ready I'd say.

This happens when the game crashes - the fix to this is to load into the game first, quit out the game by opening up the menu, Settings and then Exit. Get to the Title Screen Menu. From there either hit Alt + F4 or Stop Emulation. Boot up the game again and you will have sound. This happens to me every time the game crashes. I have to do these steps every time and it works for me.

How far from 100% finished is it? I've never owned a ps4 so this is one of the few soulslikes I have never played. But I'm waiting for it to be in a good state for my first playthrough

So you can play the full game but it's not ready for a stable experience. Game crashes after defeating story bosses. Missing assets not loading into new zones. Resetting the game loads in textures. I'm waiting on things like this to be fixed before streaming a full playthrough here on KZbin. Right now I stream on twitch for testing purposes only.

My only advice for you is to download Diego's latest shadps4 - start from scratch BUT remember to copy the "User" folder over to the new ShadPS4 folder so you have your Save File Progress.

It's a separate Mod on Nexus and it does not work with Rainbow / Blackness Mod - still an issue but I'm looking into this daily

Solid 60fps (capped) on an rx 7800 xt at 1440p, zero problems whatsoever. Occasional shader compilation stutter of course. I’ve only went through the first 1/4 of the game though

Nah I would say $1200 minimum ballpark - definitely stick with Intel though - AMD seems to have issues at the moment from what I'm reading.
