U.S.A. MAY 2023 TICKETS: www.bloodywood...
"Yaad" (Hindi for "remember' or "in memory") is about the power of accepting the loss of a loved one and moving on. The lyrics celebrate the permanent impact they have on us, reiterating the belief that we carry them in our best memories, no matter how far apart we may be.
The music video is shot in between the snow-capped mountains of the Himalayas and urban India, the music video uses the bond between a man and a dog to highlight its message. The video will release on the 27th of March, 2020 along with the track.
In spirit of the message, Bloodywood has partnered with the Posh Foundation (a non-government, not-for-profit animal shelter and rescue organization) and using the profits made on the very successful debut tour of Europe named "Raj Against the Machine" in 2019, purchased an animal ambulance van for the organization. This van will potentially help save the lives of 27,000 homeless animals in the National Capital Region of India over the next 5 years.

Lyrics:
Do you remember?
When I said I would love you forever,
And you thought it would only last as long as we were together,
Fought the past in the past, lost, but it made me better,
Had to feel love to feel loss, yeah feel that now more than ever,
You're
Never gonna be lost,
Your fire burns beneath the frost, an
Empire built between my thoughts,
Crisscrossed across the line that
Can't be crossed,
A million memories in this melody singing to me,
Smile: this is the way it's meant to be
Hazaaro kaanto
Se bichi un raho (On a path riddled with a thousand thorns)
Mein tu hee akela
Sathiya (You were my only companion)
Har saas mein (With every breath)
Har haas mein (With every smile)
Dhadkan ki har awaaz mein (With every sound of the beating heart)
Jalta amar tera diya (Your undying fire burns ever-brighter)
Meri yaado mein (In my memories)
Meri baato mein (In the words I speak)
Tu jiyaa (You live on)
Teri aankho ki
ankahi chaah mein (within the unconditional love in your eyes)
khud se mila (I found myself)
I see your coming as a gift, not your leaving as a curse,
And even though it hurts it makes me feel like I'm one with the universe,
Steady and more than ready to ride,
you're the angel and my guide,
a part of the spark and the power inside
So I go on the attack and I'm gone,
Lil' look back for bit but I'm still moving on,
To a story on a canvas yet to be drawn,
Of a child of the night but I fight for the dawn
On and on, on and on and away,
Singing we may be gone, but what we have will always stay
Har saas mein (With every breath)
Har haas mein (With every smile)
Dhadkan ki har awaaz mein (With every sound of the beating heart)
Jalta amar tera diya (Your undying fire burns ever-brighter)
Meri yaado mein (In my memories)
Meri baato mein (In the words I speak)
Tu jiyaa (You live on)
Teri aankho ki
ankahi chaah mein (within the unconditional love in your eyes)
khud se mila (I found myself)
Hazaaro kaanto
Se bichi un raho (On a path riddled with a thousand thorns)
Mein tu hee akela
Sathiya (You were my only companion)
Do you remember?
When I said I would love you forever,
And you thought it would only last as long as we were together
(x2)
Har saas mein (With every breath)
Vishvaas mujhe (I still believe)
Apaari sagar mein bhi (Even in shoreless seas)
Tu paas mere (You're here with me)
Har saas mein (With every breath)
Har haas mein (With every smile)
Dhadkan ki har awaaz mein (With every sound of the beating heart)
Jalta amar tera diya (Your undying fire burns ever-brighter)
Meri yaado mein (In my memories)
Meri baato mein (In the words I speak)
Tu jiyaa (You live on)
Teri aankho ki

The Love of a Dog, a cat is a gift, the most precious one you can imagine. I have met some dogs in my live which gave me so much love and acceptance it was a blessing for my soul. Two years ago I lost my cat, 17 years old- I still miss him. Nobody, nothing can replace him. Maybe, in the next round...

In Mexico some people believe that after you die, your dog(s) will be waiting for you to cross the river and help you on your way to heaven. This comes from an ancient Náhuatl tradition, the God Xolotl would judge you, and if you had a dog (Xolotzcuintle, native breed of dog), and you were good to it, Xolotl will allow it to be your guide, and your help on your way to Mictlán (Náhuatl underworld). With the conquer this changed, and basically if you were good with dogs (doesn't matter the breed) they will help you in the afterlife. For a reference, Xolos are the same breed of the dog from Diseny's movie Coco Greetings from México, your music is awesome . Hope to see you live

Your comment reminds me of the tale of Pandavas(5 Brothers) from the Hindu legend Mahabharata. Yudhistira and his 4 younger brothers along with Draupadi decide to depart from this world and reach Heaven in their human form. They set their path all the way across the Himalayas and were joined by a dog who accompanied them through the rest of the journey. One by one every member started to fall and die cause they were not destined to reach heaven in their human form. The only survivors left were Yudhistira and the Dog,they continued with their journey. Lord Indra, the king of heaven appeared on his chariot and wished to take Yudhistira directly to the Heaven but was unwilling to take a 'Dog' to heaven, Yudshitira denied to go without the dog who had been entirely devoted to him. Soon after, the dog transformed Into Dharma, the god of righteousness. This had been the final test for Yudhistira, who to the very end, never swayed from the path of Dharma. He thus enjoyed the rare honour of reaching Heaven In the Human form. Dogs are True gem!

My baby... She was my friend for Fifteen years. Always came down to me to say hello in the morning. Always said hello to get her food. She came tumbling down the stairs when I didn't see her, calling for her because it wasn't normal for her to just ignore her daily lovings. I stayed with her the whole day, that day. I knew she was gonna die. She stumbled down those steps and wasn't able to carry herself. I knew it was her time to go. Mom came in, saw her in my arms with her head rested on my shoulder, and asked me, "Is she..?" I said, "No, but she will." My baby died in June of 2018. She loved me and kept me sane for fifteen years. I love you, Yamata... Thank you for your Love.

:'( Shit!

I'm sorry for your loss. I lost my little kitty, Scrambles the Death Dealer, in maybe October. I found her when she was just a starving stray kitten, right after my father passed away. Luckily, I had her with me through losing my wife and my grandmother, those were some obviously low times. She dissapeared late last year, only had her for a little over three years, but she helped me get through those three years.

I think this song hits so hard because it SOUNDS like a 'fight song', hyping you up to tear the world apart, but it's not; it's yelling for you to LIVE. As if they see that life is this big, daunting monster we've all hidden from underground--and here they are, standing above us amidst the flames, reaching a hand out and telling us it's time to come back. And they're speaking directly to YOU; "Live free, Brave One". The lyrics are impossible to sing without hearing them being said to you, and you saying it to another. You feel seen. Like you're worth fighting for. Like you're worthy of a battle cry as magnificent as this. "Fly" and "Rise" isn't winning or achieving; Bloodywood is saying that being brave enough to live is an achievement worthy of the highest praise.

Covid is rough. I had it 6 months before it reached pandemic levels and it was absolutely brutal. Last year, I lost 3 people to Delta, almost lost my friend's mom to Delta, and noticed fewer regulars show up at the local Comicon. Not even the guy who would stack cans on his head. (I saw this guy walk around the convention center with 8 cans of soda stacked once) and honestly it hurts because I knew those people. I'm sorry for your loss. Like really sorry because I can relate with personal losses in my own life like the girl I was going to propose to in 2018, who died of Sepsis via Tooth Infection 3 days after I last seen her

I state that it is not the first song that I listen to by this group, which I fell in love with from the first listen, but this has particularly struck me, to the point of making me cry because of its beautiful text. I live in Bergamo, the Italian city most affected by covid-19, and I work for a public utility service that tries to stay close to families afflicted by the loss of a loved one, family member or friend who is. "Yaad" means "remember" or "in memory"; in the parable of the best friend of man, I see a person whose loss brings anguish, pain, suffering, a sense of loneliness, and reading the words of your song, I see the pain of these people, but I also feel their strength in the go on, in continuing to live always keeping the memory of those who are no longer alive in their mind. Before I go to work every morning, I listen to this song, and it gives me the strength to be close to the people who experience a significant loss every day. I thank you for your work, and I am presumed to thank you from the Bergamo people who continue their struggle against this invisible enemy. Long life to metal ... long life to life

I've rescued 2 more cats since her passing. They are wonderful, but it's hard to not have that same connection with them. Idk if I will ever have a love like that again in my life. I had a Pittie for 17 years. She had saved my life on multiple occasions. There was nothing to do for her but to love her entirely until the day she died. They give you 100% of them at least you can give them back some of the love that they give you. The least don't think that it is gone forever. It is see you later.

Not even 45 seconds into this song it hit me emotionally, inexplicably, without even knowing what it was about or hearing the lyrics. Just the instrumentation itself resonated with some deep pain and brought it out. Like the energy or vibration these notes emitted, acted as a key into my spiritual geometry or something. Fuckin A... I wasn't ready lol. That was wild.

And Karan, my friend, I literally cheered and threw my hands up for your solo, before I remembered I wasn't at the most excellent concert ever! Come to Colorado, so I can show you our mountains, and share some beers!! Much love to you all for the cause, and support for the Puppers! That's just awesome!! Be safe. Stay inside!! My father just passed away just over 4 years now. He been battling his stroke and kidney failure for almost 20 years. We suffered a lot along the way; his medical expenses, daily life expenses. I drop my studies. I work on odd jobs to lessen the burden. On his death bed he hold my hands, and say, "im sorry". I broke down. He cant talk due to the stroke he had but still, he still able to say that. Now, I got a decent job, I always felt like, my father are watching over me up there, smilling. Now, at least I know, he is not suffering anymore. Listening to this song, makes my mind rewind back the past 20 years of my life with my father, all the struggle, all the hardship, how we overcome it, even im surprised it was actually 20 years.

Grown man here.... Bawling my eyes out thinking about if this loss was my 2 year old daughter (thank god she is healthy and safe). The pain and disorientating chaos of even just the thought of losing my kin... I can't. "With unconditional love in your eyes I found myself" - A truth any good parent understands and what bonds us with our children eternally. The silver lining (lyrics) that hit me the most and allowed me to stop the tears and think possibly about how I could ever live again - "In my memories... In the words I speak... You live on." Even though I have not had this loss nor hope to ever have, I found comfort, Thank you

Towards the end of his life, my 17 year old cat named Freddy lived in the basement because he couldn’t make it up and down stairs. Back in October, I was being transferred from one hospital to another to be treated for a possible blood infection. I stopped at home and found him dead, lying on the floor berween the wall and a box. It still hurts that he had to die alone, and I miss him every day.

The only thing I can say is that often that's how cats prefer to die, alone. They will actually go and hide in order to pass alone. That knowledge won't ever make you feel okay about it because for us humans that's simply horrible, but even had you been there he might have hidden from you anyway.

This song hits hard. Lost my furbaby of 13.5 years last year. For several years, it was just the two of us living together and we were a therapy dog team of 6 years. Got to meet thousands of people and impact the lives of people across several local hospitals, nursing homes and other medical facilities. Dog's lives are way too short. I was already a big fan of you guys, but this takes it another level.

I truly do not know how you do it but you capture every part of a feeling with each of these you give to us. From the rage that wells and rises to fight the darkness of depression, to the light that helps survive bullying and now to the joyous grief of unconditional love. Each time you do this extraordinary artistic feat of transforming agony into ecstatic beauty, you follow it with an act of kindness. You, brave ones, are the light needed now. Thank you, truly and deeply. I have never commented on anything here but this demanded i respond and to give thanks for your work. Shine bright. The world is better, as am I, for having been so fortunate as to share these times with such as you.
