Some fun facts and tips about this game 1. The monkeys have developed a completely clean nuclear-esque energy, seen on the submarines 2. Psi is the only monkey to make Adora laugh 3. Arctic wind ice monkeys when placed next to water make "ice platforms", letting land money stand on water while the ice monkey is present 4. Elevation matters! Global range towers like snipers and advanced intel subs can have sight-lines blocked by obstacles when too low

i used to play btd5 all the time on my mum's ipad. got btd6 like 2 years ago and i've played it a ton but also not really a ton. fun game though and i'd love to see more of this! btw, you've probably already figured this out, but dart monkeys and similar towers are good on straightaways because they have piercing projectiles that move in a straight line. for something like a bomb tower, it doesn't really matter. also, changing targeting options for towers is pretty important. for example, a straight shooting monkey like a dart monkey can be set to last and it will attack the last bloon in its range. this means if it's on a straightaway it will go in a straight line always, even if there are bloons moving ahead. why is this good? well, assuming you've got towers cleaning up the back, your dart monkey will be getting more out of each dart it throws. it can help with spreading damage out over groups. so, i pretty much always start any game with a dart monkey or other straight shooter set to last looking down a straightaway. another helpful targeting option is strong. this will make the tower shoot the strongest bloon in its range. this is good for towers that can hit lead bloons, because it will usually focus them. there comes a point where leads aren't the strongest around but by that point you usually have good lead clearing. also, as far as dopamine goes i'd give a special recommendation for the tack zone and prince of darkness upgrades. both of them are just, like, chef's kiss. tack zone just shreds anything trying to get past it, while pod is extremely good at cleaning up bloons and can hit all bloon types with its own reanimated bloons.

the fact that in this game there are Baloons (the one thats used at parties) and then it scales to bloons (creatures full of evil that if a monkey were to hug it he gets sent to the end of the map, where we dont know what happens theere but its probably eternal suffering and death) is pretty funny to me.

Don't worry, he's just getting better slowly. Everyone dies their first time against round 63. When he starts understanding the importance of using his abilities, what towers are best against large quantities of bloons, as well as learning how tower XP works for getting new upgrades for the monkeys, he'll be fine

As a level 117 btd 6 player with more hours of experience than I wish to admit, here’s a few tips for beginners: 1. Get cheap towers that can hold off the bloons and save up for bigger upgrades. Usually, the dart monkey, monkey sub, or tack shooter works best. 2. Debuff the bloons. Glue monkeys can slow down bloons, top path ice can make moabs take more damage, etc. It doesn’t matter if it’s a few ceramics or 100 bfbs, the debuffs will always be useful. 3. Use banana farms. They give you extra money, to the point where I don’t think any strategies for the base difficulties don’t use them. Trust me, you’ll have god like towers by round 70 by using farms. Bonus tip: If you see little icons at the bottom left of your screen, press them to activate an ability. I’ll let you figure out what the abilities themselves do though ;3
