Thank you so much for this tutorial! I never would have given this pattern a go - it looks too complicated. But, you have made it doable for me. I’m making a baby blanket for my grandson and am so excited to finish it up. ❤❤❤

Thank you so much for creating this video. I created a HUGE and HEAVY blanket using two huge 547 yard/500m (4.4lb/2kg total weight) rounds of Lion Brand Cover Story Super Bulky (6) Yarn. This pattern took a somewhat casually-textured yarn and raised it to the next level of sophistication. If I could post an image, I would, because I am rather proud of the outcome, thanks to your instruction!

Love this, and I’ve used this video time and again while crocheting a baby blanket for a friend, I just have one question. Do I have to do anything specific to tying the end? I’m at the end of my last row and I’m not sure how to tie it
@crystalwilliams25035 ай бұрын
Excellent instruction! Thank you so much for this info., but you didn't mention how to finish this piece. Is there a "break-down" row for the final edge like there was a "set-up" row at the beginning? Or do we just tie off after the last stitch of our 4-row pattern repeat?

Hi thank so much for this tutorial Could you please advise me on how many chains I would do for a baby blanket as I am a beginner and would love to try this Many thanks ❤️
@BlossomCrochet Жыл бұрын
Hi Geraldine! I usually make my baby blankets 80cm wide, so I would just chain until I reach that length. It’s hard to give an exact amount of chains as it depends on what yarn you use, hook size and tension. 🥰

Hello Rebecca. My name is Cathie, and I have been watching you and have learned quite a bit from you, but the one ST that I have a LOT of problem with is the BLTC. I've got the FLTC down pat, but the back one, I just can't seem to grasp. This is a beautiful design.

I really like this pattern and I have some blanket yarn that I’ve been holding on to until I had a pattern. I think this is it. Also wondering if I could do this in a 4 weight yarn? Hi I love your channel and have made several blankets/ throws out of the stitch you used to make the foot warmer for the bottom of your daughters bed . I used a bulky 6 yarn and they are lovely 🥰 I want to try this basket weave. Will you mind giving me you opinion on the hook size I’m in the USA. I usually you a 10mm with the bulky 6 yarn. Is a 10 mm too big for the basket weave pattern? Thank You in advance
@LadyMarine2 ай бұрын
I wonder how these longer stitches come out after washing. I haven’t tried your double etc for fear of getting loopies that ruin the look of the blanket with bernat chenille yarn .

Just wondering how you finish it off , once you got to the suze you want ?????

This is lovely - what sort of border would you put on this?
@tkgosselin8 ай бұрын
I find that if you just repeat row 3 only the effect is more cohesive, like a basket weave. Also in variegated yarn the yarn behind the post stitches are glaringly obvious like a sewing line. Just couldn't have that and not be bothered by it.
