@@BardofCornwall My ear is likely not as good as yours but I'll give it a shot. Did you use a C, or D whistle? The sheet music I've found has a low C and that befuddles me.

Thanks for the support, Stevie. I believe it's a Generation brand whistle in brass, key of D. I peeled the label off when I recently polished the metal.
