They are 100 percent the way to go we run non cdl single axle dumps. Legal for 7 ton legally in ny state. Some people will argue with me a lot have about the laws but I’ll give the head of dot number to call. Then if your just working down the road a feel safe load that thing to the top. Half the time people are over cdl just towing a mini with a f550 and don’t even know. Then our non cdl kenworths we can also tow a good amount with them with cdl driver best of both worlds.

Our 259d3 has had the same issue with not releasing the attachment. We always have to pry it off - kind of tired of it because you need a second guy around when you want to swap out attachments.

Mikes truck needs a valve body in the transmission from 2nd to 3rd that’s why is slams, cause of the issue is from too high of a tune on the stock transmission. if he was wondering 🤷‍♂️

I’m telling you man, ditch cat. Go to John Deere 50g excavators. 333g big framed skid loader Get a wheeled kubota. Only downtime you’re gonna have is for preventative maintenance. Cat is not where it used to be, price point blows, they consistently have stupid problems which involve warranty work, or techs having to come out and plug in. We have 12 Deere 50g, and two skids 333g ranging from 2017s-2022s. Literally have had one issue regarding a dealer call out since 2017.. same goes w the skid for a dpf issue in 2020
