I would call it more of a resurrection than a replacement but yeah i believe its morbid enough along with talented enough to convincingly pull it off with the respect the accuracy of the vocals and guitar deserve that Wayne would dig it!

Saw Static-X open for Slayer and Pantera in San Jose, California. Craziest show I've ever seen. The entire floor of the hockey arena was a mosh pit. Started as a bunch of small ones that just kept growing into one giant swirling pit.

Watched Satic X open for Korn in the UK some years ago, I'm a Korn fan but for me that evening, Static X were the band for me! (in fact left not long after as i'd seen Korn earlier that week at a festival & only went to see 'SX'. Been a fan ever since, such a shame Wayne has been taken from the world, we can only guess now how big they would have been... This is a cool 'riff' on the band though, great idea. 👍🤙🖖✌🤘👌🍻

The masked dude is Edsel Dope, he was my neighbor in Villa Park, IL. A long with the rest of his band "Dope". Really nice dudes. Very hard not to bother them when I knew a huge rock icon had just pulled up to the house but didn't want attention.
