Why has BP and affiliated companies charged criminally and made to shut down completely ? BP better be paying for these people to clean and clear the areas from toxic oil. So terrible !!!

The problem of oil is globally systemic. The oil companies feed our hunger for oil & we all enable them to do it. Thus by default we have accepted the consequences. but like a junky hooked on Heroin we will ignore the consequences until we've lost everything. Since the first well was drilled, the world adapted to using oil & now westerners know no other way of life. We use oil & it's derivatives every day in all aspects of our lives. It's so common place that we don't ever think about it. From the plastic in our homes & cars, the polyester clothing we ALL wear, to the synthetic sheets we sleep on, as a global civilization we are bathed in oil products from the moment we are born until the day we die. It has been this way for over 150 years now. Think about that for a few moments while you sip juice from that plastic coated paper tumbler... Then there's the issue that the majority of food consumed today is mostly GM. Don't kid yourself, even the fresh veg' you grow yourself has had it's seeds genetically modified at some point in history to maximize production & profit. Even Honey, the purest of all natural foods, has been altered by fucking with bee genomes. It's no wonder the majority of us have some type of medical problem, from skin rashes to MS, to strokes & heart attacks. We're all subjected to the same poisons each & every day of our lives, our only defense is our own individual genetic makeup. "Give a man a fish & he eats for a day". "Give him a fishing pole & he will eat forever". "Give a junky a fishing pole & he eats until he goes into withdrawals then sells the pole for his next hit".

You brought up interesting facts to our reality. Our life sustaining environment has been converted into one giant oil (petroleum) pollutant from the tar roofing shingles on our homes to the black asphalt pavement of their roads. Now you will be required to purchase your own health care insurance. How ironic.

After watching the BP guy lie about how much oil is out there, until CNN called him on his lie and he changed his story, why would anyone believe him when he says BP has improved its safety standards...

I just cannot believe that any of these BP big wigs actually feel any remorse for the death of the eleven men on this rig and the loss of their family members. Listening to that one BP admin talking to the reporter I could feel the ice of his presence and the terrible oily slickness of his attitude. :(
