I would argue even DVD's look better than streaming, or at the very least come pretty close. At least when played through a modern player or home console or TV with upscale technology. I've watched DVD's on my Xbox One that look as good as a 720p KZbin video and considering how cheap they are I often just go with DVD. If I can get Blu Ray cheaper or the same price as DVD I obviously go for that but otherwise I'm just fine with my DVD's.

@@claudi7302 used blurays sre a few dollars, well worth the upgrade over DVD, which just looks washed out.

4k discs are a joke though the new format keeps skipping there more sensitive compared to regular blu-ray

But disc's in general are better than streaming. That's my point.

@GarrettCrespo yeah they are your not wrong there but a 4k hdr digital movie still looks as good as a 4k blu-ray on a oled 4k tv you wont notice the differece. I got a 55 inch oled tv and watched alien on 4k digital and looked incredible. You just gotta have the right tv at the end of the day
@GamezGuru16 күн бұрын
@@Mike-t5r9q I notice you did NOT watch the same movie on disc to compare. Only watching the stream and then just claiming the disc can't be better is ignorant.

Those discs will decay though. The obvious solution is buying physical, and then backing them up to a personal media server. Plex is the easiest but other services are available.

I have DVDs that are 27 years old and they play just fine. I have 4,000 movies and none of them have rotted
