It actually isn't that far-fetched. I've heard about this stuff happening before and even witnessed one in particular. My ex wife's sister dated this dude in her small town for years. When i met him, i just got bad vibes from him. He was perfectly pleasant to me, women obsessed over him, but he just had these cold eyes. I warned my ex about him, but she and her sister swore he wasn't abusive. He constantly cheated on her and started hurting her. Even tried to 💀 her one day because she tried to leave. He just wanted that control.

**Spoiler Alert** The Invisible Man didn’t rape her. He found out she was on the birth control pill when they were still together and swapped out the pills. So the fugly woman was pregnant since the beginning of the movie. And is interesting how she went to live w this black guy over her sister. They never explained how they knew each other. No back story but whatever

I actually walked out of this movie when she was traumatized and staring off into space after escaping her boyfriend's house at the very beginning. So, I made it 10 or 12 minutes in and couldn't take anymore of the BS. I got my money back.

@@chandlerburse I can tell you exactly what was so bad about that scene. It was insulting to my intelligence. For one, the movie was called The Invisible Man, not the Abused Woman. It's an immediate bait and switch. The movie starts off with a woman so terrified of the male character that she has to flee to a friend's house and then becomes catatonic in the bathroom. There's nowhere to go narratively. According to that horribly written piece of garbage, the guy was already a monster. You didn't need the suit. The suit did nothing. I didn't need to see it. This was a movie about an abused woman that they window dressed with some Invisible Man BS. This was a movie where this abused woman could have been terrorized by just a regular guy, standing in the bushes, sending text messages, driving past her house, showing up at her work. It had nothing to do with invisibility. They tricked us into buying a ticket to see a movie about an abused woman. Do you understand? I figured it out in the first 10 minutes.
