I saw them too on that tour with The Church. Wasn't all that impressed with The Church, but The Blue Aeroplanes rocked it and absolutely stole the show! Their album Swagger is a classic. What a great band.

Well, the tour you're referring to was earlier on, and its NYC date was at The Ritz; they were amazing!!! That's where I first discovered them. Great call, sacflies- geez what a night that was- The Blue Aeros and The Church!!!

Wojtek, Bez and to a lesser extent Cressa. There was a bit of a thing for talisman dancers circa ‘89, ‘90🤔. Anyway, great song, great album, great band.
