To be fair, WB had no money to promote the movie because of Black Adam, Shazam, and The Flash all underperforming. They have money now because of Barbie, but the marketing spend on Blue Beetle would've happened months ago, so too late for the Barbie money to help

@@TheNerdDoc from what I've been reading online, along with some interviews, seems like even the lead role for blue beatle didnt really want to promote the movie at all either, didnt want to do no campaign nor anything even when asked, which is the most bizarre thing I've ever heard of.

@@juanrisa945 It's confirmed that Xolo's Blue Beetle will be part of the new DCU, but we don't have any further details than that. We don't know if he's picking up where this movie leaves off, or if things in the story will change, but the cast will remain the same.

Would have been good i this movie came out like 16 years ago, but it doesn't really break any new ground. It's a bit Peter Parker mixed with Iron Man. So nothing we haven't seen before in movies. Victoria Kord for example is basically Obidiah Stane in the first Iron Man movie.

Even if that is the case, it would be difficult to showcase that unless we see Jaime in college or something during Superman: Legacy, which would be a waste of a cameo (IMO). There's really no need to confirm when this takes place within the timeline since we don't see much of the world outside of Palmera.

Just saw Blue Beetle movie. It's 6/10. Family dynamic is good but too overdramatised and hyper which is unrealistic. Also generic story and villian infact after watching the movie, I felt absolutely nothing for the movie. It's mediocrity all over the place.
