I mean, dude, literal stellar radiation was enough to make the omnitrix whack out. It's not that reliable of a device even with the really stupid explanation they came up with in Omniverse that the reason for the watch constantly never giving Ben the alien he wants is because the little Bieber bowl idiot constantly kept slamming the dial way too hard, which he still does even after it's explained like the total idiot he is. There was literally an episode devoted to the very idea that the watch could be removed from his body. Through dimensional hi-jinx, but still, that episode literally doesn't work if the idea that the watch can't be forcibly removed isn't a thing. And even if were true that sufficient brute force was incapable of removing the omnitrix from Ben, you're ignoring the very real fact that the power ring lanterns wield are capable of many different ways of finessing a solution based on hax involving phasing, dimensional weirdness, and of course the classic hollywood hacking mixed in with some hard light hacking. Again, simple stellar radiation is enough to cause the omnitrix to malfunction in a way that negatively influences combat. Azmuth really shouldn't have upgraded the omnitrix to Windows 11.

Ben can use Alien X without Bellicus and Serena giving their input due to his deal, but to say he has "full control" is a stretch if you think about it. All Ben on his own has done with Alien X is: punch, fly, multiply, make a black hole via speed, use telekinesis and use mind control. With Bellicus and Serena doing the heavy lifting, Alien X has: reversed time and recreated the universe perfectly except what Ben's human brain messed up. Which is his favorite smoothie and the mascot of his favorite smoothie place. Without Bellicus and Serena, there is basically a 0% chance that Ben could recreate the universe by himself like they did. And as seen with fighting Galactic Gladiator, Ben doesn't really know how to use Alien X for real combat, hence why Galactic Gladiator caught him by becoming giant. So by "not having full control, but he uses it with confidence," they mean it like a newbie driving a car. Just because the newbie has full confidence in their actions doesn't mean that they have full control over the car.

If you then continued the episode, the court directly calls out that his usage of Alien X proves his inability to recreate the universe and so next charge Bellicus and Serena with the crime, and the court fines them. Ah yes, I can see how much they told Ben to recreate the universe by the fact that they don't TELL HIM ANYTHING. Ben asks them if they can fix this, Serena says "Alien X can do many things. we just have to agree on it." Calls on Bellicus, who agrees in a grumpy tone, and then it is Bellicus and Serena releasing energy from themselves that spreads out of Alien X to then recreate the universe. All Ben does is watch as the two people who actually know how to control Alien X do all the work, and then they don't even fix the universe. They replace it.

The biggest issue when it comes to debating Alien X's powers and potential sadly comes down to how the showrunners handled how Alien X and Celestialsapiens in the show. Unlike most if not all of Ben's other aliens they did both showing and telling of how each one worked and what they could do. With Alien X and Celestialsapiens they did less showing and more telling then anything else. It is implied many times what a Celestialsapien can do and that they are Omniversal Reality Warpers that can do literally anything and everything that they put their minds to, which is why their big weakness is that they all have two egos in side of them to control their actions. When Ben is "given the keys to Alien X" as he says in the show, that weakness is gone and Alien X's only limitation is his Imagination. If Ben can see the weakness of his opponent while as Alien X then all he has to do is think it and Alien X's powers just put it into action as we see in his fight with the Galactic Gladiator who's powers and power level are the exact same as Alien X. It's similar to the question of why Ben doesn't just turn into Alien X all the time. It's bad writing and Omniverse is unfortunately filled to the brim with those. Bad writing aside, the feats remain and Ben has permanent Alien X control. There is no asterisk to that.

First off the whole “prime example of said species” is from one writer’s statement and more so refers to health, as in you won’t get a sick version of the species if you scanned on. Second of all the “data dump” is an actual fan theory meant to explain why ben has names for aliens he just became in Alien force, so no he wouldn’t have knowledge. And third of all ben wouldn’t be able to scan the scarab at all as it’s not an alien, just alien tech. Ben can’t become something not actually living. However the opposite could actually happen, the scarab could scan and copy the omnitrix and actually give jaime info on it since in heroes united a less advanced machine was able to copy the ultimatrix.

Ben did not do a good job in defending Ben 10. That Theological Beam thing is worthless due to the fact that Alien X literally survived it before. Clockwork actually has many abilities that helps him fight as proven by Maltruent who bodied almost everyone including a 3v1 against Adult Ben, Gwen and Kia. Ben also didn't mention that the Omnitrix has the capability to turn the user into the most PRIME version of each alien meaning if Ben scans the Scarabs Ben's would theoretically be stronger. Also the BIGGEST feat of Alien X was that it was revealed in "Ben vs the Universe" that Celestialsapiens are responsible in retconning the show multiple times. Even went so far as to change voice actors and animators and they do this regularly and Alien X was able to beat their strongest warrior in a 1v1. If anything Alien X should be scaled to SuperBoy Prime.

Because unlike the omnitrix, the Scarab itself has counter measures for hollywood hacking like that, which only makes sense considering the number of techno-organic species in DC and Marvel in general that Ben 10 stole for its big bag of operating ideas and the fact that the Reach are much smarter than Azmuth and would've considered the idea of giving their scarabs the ability to resist being hacked in any number of ways given the advancements of alien races in DC. Or in superhero tv show dialogue form: the scarab's firewalls are too strong. Not to mention the fact that even if it weren't, it could electrify it's entire surface and shock any galvanic mechamorph dumb enough to try especially considering galvanic mechamorph hacking isn't instant fast as it is and there'd be plenty of time to enact such a counter measure when we're talking the time computers operate in. And all that is even assuming a galvanic mechamorph could even get anywhere near to Blue Beetle to even attempt to tag him because he has a distinct speed advantage and his armor has a sensor suit which eliminates trying to get the drop on him.

If you’ve actually read the comics you’d know all the following feats are missing massive context from the story that debunk them 1. Krona didn’t have any of the e entites, they were trapped in the other guardians 2. Hal ACTUALLY LOST to captain atom in the comic they cited in the Q and A 3. What Kyle Rayner held back was not a big bang but described as many galaxies 4. Killing mandrak means nothing as we learned later in that story that Mandrakk was nerfed to pathetic levels by a wishing machine and Hal needed a squad of lanterns to help 5. Hal didn’t contain the U-bomb, it was explicitly stated he disarmed it before it could go off

Again, Paradox called a celestialsapien’s power omnipotent meaning Alien X is vastly above his navigatior and anything else in the series since we learn Paradox has been through the events of the entire series countless times. The time bomb anti-feat doesn’t matter because it circumvents any failsafe, once the wave hits Ben will never be born and the omnitrix will never be created in the first place Also that doesn’t change the fact that Hal maxes out at Galaxy level

assuming there's no history of someone trying to hack/possess the scarab in the comics, cuz Beetle has countered that at least once or twice and even in Ben 10 there's been technological beings who have resisted Upgrade possessing them. Plus Beetle would nuke and blitz Upgrade before the latter attempted something. IDK if he has shown resistance to erasure to counter Alien X's though.

The scarabs actually resisted hacking before and upgrades been pushed back by sentient robots, said robots being way less advanced than the scarab. It’s not a complete wash as only alien X possibly beats jaime.

The fact Beetle is millions of times faster than Upgrade and Upgrade has struggled to hack an RV before, let alone the most advanced piece of tech in the universe.
