Not going to lie, this is the part where I fell in love with Blue Beetle as a character. Young Justice brought a level of depth and conflict with the character that I never imagined. Jaime is forever one of my favorite character's from this series.

I find it funny when people draw tenuous links between comic books and try to claim "rip off". There's a fucking reason no one takes that word seriously anymore. Symbiotes from Marvel are an alien race that takes control of their host. The scarabs from DC are machines created by the Reach (enemies of the Green Lanterns) that,on command,take control of their host to serve the plans of the reach. Just because they have a "symbiotic relationship" doesn't mean that they are the same. Meaning,just because you can draw a similarity,doesn't mean that they have any fucking correlation. If that's the case,I might as well say that Blue Beetle is a ripoff of Iron Man because they both have advanced armors....even though they couldn't possibly be more different. What's next? Green Arrow is a ripoff of Wonder Woman because they're both white people (even though she's greek from Themyscira)? It's funny how the people that often make these claims often know little to nothing about the characters,and don't read the comics....not saying that to all of you,btw.

Cameron Major Fun fact: the original Blue Beetle was a ripoff of Green Hornet. Just look at Dan Garrett's first costume. Fans also like to joke about Blue Beetle ripping off another character ever since Linkara did his Blue Skying retrospective.

Dragon Sword A lot of characters can have similar types of costumes, hoodies or jackets, and at the 40s, there were nothing much new about most of them. Doesn't make them exactly rip offs unless they've taken similar powers or attributes. Similar to how Hulk was created based on Jerkyll and Hyde. Blue Beetles a composite of several attributes, but his origin and characteristics are for the most part unique. But people joke about them cause it's easy (more like lazy) to compare any character with armor to Iron Man, or any teenage schoolgoing superheroes to Spiderman. It's just annoying. You wanna know a rip off? Look at Thanos to Darkseid, Dr Polaris to Magneto, Sentry to Superman or Aquamon to Namor.

This was the one show that displayed how young adults deal with pressure, anxiety, and depression. Not only were they young adults, they were superheroes going through all the same conditions we go through. It was an amazing show that educated as much as it entertained for a younger generation. And these assholes canceled a progressive show like that. Unforgivable.

BLUE BEETLE deserves his own solo movie with BLACK BEETLE as the main antagonist. Nightwing and Cyborg are getting their own movies, but I feel like certain young Titans members deserve their own movie as well, such as; Aqualad, Starfire, Raven, Red Arrow (Arsenal), and Miss Martian. IMO of course lol (Beast Boy should be in Raven’s movie, and her movie should feel like a horror movie)

+daquan94 very complicated let me just say that it may be the only weapon stronger than a green lantern ring in essence the scarab's allow the wearer to create a suit of armor capable of destroying the most powerful heros in DC or at the very least put up a good fight the scarab is capable of creating almost any weapon and can adapt it's self so that it can fight any opponent heck in the new 52 it was implied that the reach the creator's of the scarab have destroyed several planets similar to earth(especially when it comes to superheroes)all with one scarab per planet
