That is one SWEET BMW M2, especially after the RAD GARAGE spa week treatment! Very nice. And that blue color is spectacular on that car. Air is without a doubt one of the most indispensable tools in detailing as noted at 20:18 where the air is literally blowing out all the muck and grime. Imagine if you didn't use air on that piece, most of that gunk would still be in those cracks and would just re-dry and be imbedded in the cracks. Even if you don't have compressed air, which I do not, I still get effective air from one of those hand held air blowers and use it quite often on interior details just to do this very thing, blow out all the cracks and dry everything rapidly which it does a great job for. Final result.........better than the day it rolled out of the showroom!

Yes, air is indispensable when dealing with those little nooks and crannies. Nothing is more satisfying to me than when you dislodge a tiny piece of debris from a super tight space. Victory! 🤘

You are absoulutely right about the prefect cars. Most of us have some defects on our cars even if we love them. It just shows that they are beeing used. I think it is sad that people are not able to share their work unless it is perfect and everything around is immaculate too. If you post anything on social media there always seems to be someone who thinks they are entitled to critisize. It don't matter if it is detailing och doing mechanical work on your car. If it is make up or painting, there seems to be the same harshness everywhere. I have had thoughts about showing some of the stuff I am doing in my garage but I do not want to put me out there. You are fantastic in your work, filming and editing, Rick. Just awesome!

I am truly fortunate that the "harshness" you see running rampant on the Internet rarely rears its ugly head on my channel. But, it's always in the back of my mind as I hit the "upload" button that someone is going to harshly criticize my work. That said, I'm at a point in my life where that kind of feedback doesn't deeply impact me. It'll eat away at me for a few hours and then I just move on. I highly encourage you to post some of the work you do in your own garage. I'll be sure to watch if you do!

Huge work, but great job. Car is absolutely reborn. I have a question. I used the Adams rubber mat Liner Cleaner last week for the first time. I had an expectation for it to give my mats a fresh look. However it had do such impact. Adams worked like an ordinary APC, it only cleaned my mats, nothing more. Is it usual? What is your thoughts for this product?
@RADGarage2 жыл бұрын
I find Adam’s RM&LC to be my favourite mat cleaner. I like that it leaves to greasy residue behind. Perhaps you would like to use a trim and/or rubber dressing to finish yours off?
@enisozdemirli2 жыл бұрын
@@RADGarage I dont like greasy finish, therefore I do not intend to use any dressing product after cleaning my mats. I expected Adams RMLC clean and give a fresh look (factory new finish) at the same time. However I am not successful. Perhaps it is related to raw material of mats. Because some people claim to get the result from Adams RMLC that I look for.
@RADGarage2 жыл бұрын
Yes, I suspect you are correct. The finish probably has everything to do with the type of rubber mat you are working with, rather than the cleaner. Are you getting a greasy finish on yours?

@RADGarage2 жыл бұрын
The rotor rust on this car was absolutely out of control! I was going to take it for a quick ride to rid the rotors of the rust but the rain and wind had other ideas. Unfortunately, I had to leave them rusty. The Hyde’s has never worked for me so I gave up on that. But, like you said, these rotors are the worst for rusting. @@RADGarage So I sprayed some water just couple times directly to MF towel and wipe the rotor down. Today, I drove to my office and didn’t really see any rust on my wheels! I think I’ll stick with this method now although I have to trash the MF towels every time

Hi Rick ! Good to see you again ! Happy July ,1st and more over happy vacations ! I guess that will help you a lot evacuating all the stress accumulated... Nice surprise to see a BMW ! This blue M2 is gorgeous. So gorgeous I thought it was...an Audi 🤣🤣🤣 Ha ha your little joke did my day 😉! Joking aside, the car is beautiful with her battlerscars and I agree that they do not have to be hidden or elapsed so to speak. As you said, they are daily driven and it is obviously normal to have some knicks here and there. What else could I say ? Reverse foam, great audio tracks,some ASMR and awesome filming angles. I am astonished every time a new video pops up ! Really RAD video mate ! Enjoy family and holidays Rick ! Take care and stay RAD 🤙🤙🤙 Gregg

Thanks for all the kind words, Gregg. These projects are a lot of work but they are a cool way for me to document the projects I tackle and they seem to entertain others. Take care.

This was so good, Need more lighting though garage is dark for the camera!
@RADGarage8 ай бұрын
Lighting is definitely one of my biggest challenges. Too much light and the reflections off the car cause issues. It’s a never-ending balancing act. But, for a hobbyist who does this for pure fun, I think it’s coming along. Check out my more recent work and see what you think about the lighting. Thanks.

awesome job. what do you think of stoner's wheel cleaner?
@RADGarage2 жыл бұрын
It was pretty darn good. It isn't a heavy duty Iron-extracting type of cleaner, but for light to moderate dirty wheels...perfect option.

Love watching ur process bradah and Im with u on the PPF had all my cars wrapped but after a few years i decided to take them all except for one bumper but i instead invested on a good clear coat and good painter lol , had him re shoot the front ends and so rock chips havent been an issue for me.
@RADGarage2 жыл бұрын
You added EXTRA clear coat to the front of you car? That's incredible. I have never heard of that. I appreciate the protection PPF provides, but it such a bummer to work with.
@1kontrabida2 жыл бұрын
@@RADGarage yes brafah my paint guy added something on the clear coat to make the clear more durable forgot what it’s called I’ll find out. Now I barely have rock chips, PPF is awesome , the downside from my experience was the width of the film ( if ur hood is wider than 72 inches then u can’t do full coverage which is advisable because if u do half ull notice the cut line more and more as the years go.) I wouldn’t keep the clear bra for more than 3 years because the longer u leave it on the painted surface the more it’ll bond itself to the painted fender , hood and etc? ) lastly some ppff have orange peal, on a good note the the best one I tried was the windshield ppf works and you can stick it on and peel it back it’s reusable .
