Thank you for sharing, glad only the Hopi can allow the visit. Like Ed Abbey says, you build a good road into these hidden wonders it's all over. Make the people who really want to see it and appreciate it struggle a bit to get there.

I could not agree more with your comment! So, glad the locations are on Native American land… they will preserve it!

I totally agree and am super glad it is on Hopi land! If it were in the hands of our government it would probably be a National Park and overrun by people!

What an amazing landscape. Thank you for visiting and creating this wonderful video. Please forgive my ignorance, but what is a “hoodoo?” Thanks for all your hard work.

Thank you! In general, a hoodoo is a spire made of rock and minerals that can range anywhere from five to one hundred and fifty feet tall. There are big, round hoodoos that look like boulders perched on kitchen stools, tall, thin spires that seem to go on forever, and rounded chimneys with large rocks sitting quietly on the top.

@@Seracdog thank you for taking the time to answer my question. Lacking a geologic background, I had never heard the word.

There's three guys. I watch a lot that will hike in the back country for miles and hours and hours. Camp for a couple days. And really come back with some great video of the geology and beauty of the area. They love and respect the environment and take good care of it. Beautiful photos. Honestly, I just don't like the music of any kind with these videos. I'd rather hear your feet. Crunching on the gravel and the sound of the wind. But thanks for sharing

In the video description is contact info for the guide we used. However, extreme patience is required! He has a different full time job and only guides when he can get away from his full time gig. So, it may take several emails and phone calls before he responds, so one must be patient and flexible. Have a date in mind because that is the first question he will ask!

Wouldn't it be awesome if they could make videos like these without music in them
