I think people were laughing in the movie theatre when Pete Bell kept exiting and entering when his staff went to pep up the players.

D.E. Latham, I remember when I rented This on VHS, I was laughing so hard that my sides was hurting me from laughing so hard when that guy was cussing, swearing, leaving the locker room, and coming back in.

My sentiments exactly to all my favorite teams when they play halfassed and lower than that. Great scene and acting. I sure hope Nolte gives himself this speech to get his acting career back on track.

I liked how the assistant coaches would move in talking all positive, and then they quickly walk back as soon as the head coach returned. Almost like a muscle memory reaction for them. Lol

I've read that comment so many times it's hilarious. Always gives me chuckles to visualize him snorting cocaine up a straw in the bathroom each time he leaves before coming back in to yell some more at his players. LOL! =)

Was this a nod at Bobby Knight's "Sick of Losing to Purdue!" speech?
@jonathanakerele80067 жыл бұрын
Maybe. Quite possible since Nolte imitated many of Knight's mannerisms to get the Pete Bell role down as a hard hitting coach who hates losing! =)
