i made more than my fair share of mistakes to be sure... to this day i will never think negatively/mis-judge anyone, as none of us are perfect. we all have faults, it's what we do after our mistakes that define us, and i must say that Bruce has done a very fine job of getting up and moving forward. Momma Wilson you done a damn fine job raising a good son and an even better man. :)

Hey Bruce, when you grease the Fifth Wheel..... keep it back on the ears... then when you hook up... the grease doesn't push over the fifth wheel all over the back of the truck . Plus it keeps more grease on the plate. Blue Collar is looking sharp! Great to have you back

My sixty series was leaking at the oil filter housing. It really wasn’t a big job at all to do but it went from a small leak to a major leak all of a sudden. I left our shop and it had been dripping for several months but anyway I got a mole down the rd pulled in the store and as I was walking back out I noticed it was poring out. The o ring had finally gave up and let go. I’m just glad I wasn’t just leaving with a load. I would have driven for a few hrs with it poring. Could have been bad. Blue collar still looks sweet though. Nice old truck. Once again glad to see u back on here. Take care Bruce! Oh and seems like mine had two or three o rings behind the filter houseing

Diesel is around 3.70 a gallon in north Mississippi right now. I just went to Houston and back at the end of the week and the further south we went it went up untill I got into lousiana. Near the Louisiana/Texas border it's in the 3.40s at some places.

For that dipstick/ fill tube . U can convert it to one off an FLD which puts it behind the passenger step ladder under the cab . Gota pick the cab up to fill or check the oil . But u can actually read it

yeah in sweden the fuel price is ruffly 21.63 swedish krowns per liter and one galon is 3.7854 liters so for one galon we pay 8.76 dollars in my area, so you have it good

I get the same thing with the oil on the dipstick. So I always check mine cold before I start it. That way any oil that has splashed up into the dipstick tube has run back down into the sump but as soon as you start it you gotta wait till it’s cold again.

Got the twin to your cabover and you're right that dip stick is always covered in oil. It helps if you check the oil before you start the engine up

I used to do all my dad and grad dads pre trips as a young snow back , you gotta get in er do all the greasing, check all the breaks whilst doing the grease job then check all the hubs , plus diffs , then flash er up air it up , whilst doin that check your electronic junk out , then kill er and check for air leaks . Man I miss turning big wheels 🤔

damn i love the sound of those Jakes ,,they are loud ,,,i've got a 1974 GMC cab over with a 400 cummins and it's got the loudest jakes i have ever heard ,,it makes popcorn pops and cackles and my horn borrowed from an SD-40 locomotive is the perfect counterpoint ,,,when i blow the horn any idiot in front of me gets a 200 Db blast of disapproval that will wake up even the sleepiest tesla driver you asked about the price of diesel i live in southwest iowa and diesel is running at about $3.60 ,,,ethanol blend gas is $3.29 ,,that was today 2-12-22

$5-$6 Canadian per gallon in western Canada depending on regular - premium fuel or diesel its been that range for some time.

Alabama/Mississippi area is around $4.21 per gallon at the truck stops, if you hit up a standard gas station it’s about $3.60 per gallon
