The deck is only meta in the OCG because they have Maxx C and Jellyfish (the meta decks there usually have 8 versions of maxx C. It is clear that such decks are stronger there than here). They do few summons and build a solid board. In the TCG it will be a solid deck but never one of the best.

13:10 You can sequence it (just Beryl) a bit differently to get more out of it: Normal Summon Beryl, set Lode Activate Lode to search Roar Link Beryl into Spirit Spirit eff to grab the Field Spell Activate Field Spell and foolish for Blue-eyes Activate Spirit effect tributing itself for cost to summon Blue-Eyes from GY, chain Roar as CL2 to summon Flamvell Guard from the deck Now you can make Spirit Dragon and still have Lode's second effect to summon as well (probably at the end of your combo) as well as Field Spell access for additional normal summons. All while not being locked out of Spirit Dragon's effect, so the Field Spell could also be converted into another Field Spell if you play Ancient Fairy Dragon (Secret Village, Stand-Up etc.)

The card you couldn’t figure out from the picture is most likely one of the lvl 12 synchros (Sifr, or cosmic blazar) that are usually being summoned by crimson dragon.

I think not playing jet dragon is a huge mistake, that card is absurdly good in a grind game and can be really sticky

I also think assault synchron and dis pater are really good because assault synchron makes certain spirit dragon combos better

I really wanna know the combos lined for this. Not playing roar or synchro rumble seems like a very bad idea to me

Agree. Think if you are facing 2-3 HT in this Format, i dont think cards like Synchro Rumble for the line, that your opponent has nothing in his Hand is not competitive enough and you really dont want to start with rumble in your Hand. Roar has merit to be played, its more layered Interruption and is basically A Second copy of Saga

I’m gonna assume the first ocg list was playing Neo Twin, not Neo Ultimate, since they were only running 2 Blue-Eyes.

You dont summon Neo, you just use his gy effect to negate target effects

Neo Ultimate Dragon is primarily used in GY. Either for Tyrant Dragon(equip Neo Ultimate Dragon from GY to a Blue-eyes Vanilla Dragon Face-Up on your field) or an Anti-Targeting effect. They rarely use Twin Dragon and would probably main 1 Vanilla Dragon and 1 Alternative Dragon instead
